Anyone planning the Target route?

Target's online ad today (Sunday before Black Friday) states:
"Shop these Black Friday deals in stores & online"

Does anyone here have any previous experience with Target online sales for Black Friday?

Can we really expect to get a couple iPad Air 2's along with a couple $140 gift cards online? Without even stepping foot in a Target building?

For those of us with a Frys around they are selling the 16gb Air 2 for $399 which is the Best Buy black Friday price. They will price match it in store. So black Friday price without the hassle #

How? is it the special for pre-black Friday? and is it all iPA2's? Did you just go into a Frys and asked for an Air and ask them to price match Best Buys Black Fridays price?

Frys is currently selling the iPad Air 2 for $399 as a sale price until the 27th I believe. I simply went into my local best buy, pulled up the frys price on my 6+ and asked them to match it. They said yes and I walked out of best buy with a brand new iPad Air 2 for $399 plus tax.

My local Best Buy told me that they don't price match with Fry's. I went down to Fry's and got the iPad for $399. So, ymmv with price matching at Best Buy.

Either way it's nice to get the iPad Air 2 for $399 without dealing with any of the Black Friday fiasco. It's the only thing I wanted to get and now I can sit back at home and relax.

Yep, it's simply not worth the hassle of dealing with the masses and chaos to save a few bucks. You did great on your deal and get to relax now, as you said. ;)

100 dollar gift card? And I think it's on wifi only versions

The Best Buy ad states:

SAVE
$100

ON ALL iPad Air 2
16GB; 64GB; 128GB
Sale prices starting
at $399.99

[Shop Now]

There isn't any mention of exclusions and clicking on the "Shop Now" button brings up 18 listings, half of which are cellular.

Yes and I think it shows the reduced prices for the iPad air wifi versions while the cellular prices are the same. Also is it a 100 dollar gift card caused doubt Apple is allowing such a steep discount on the new iPad air 2. It's probably just a gift card.

That could be the case, but the ad doesn't state any of that.

anyone try to get BB to price match Fry's 16gb air 2 price but on a 64gig model (e.g. 100 off)?

Typing on my brand new 32gb mini 2 now thanks to this deal. I was going to wait for the target deal, but a mere $25 additional savings is not worth the madness and risk of Target running out of stock.

Your's is the better deal as you got $75 off the price instead of a gift card.
