Ok call me crazy, but I LOVE the Black Stainless Steel watch but I HATE the super expensive Link Bracelet that comes with it. So my plan is to buy the Black SS for $1K and sell the Link Bracelet for about $500.

First, do you think someone would be willing to buy the Black SS Link Bracelet? I think so because they aren't for sale on Apple.com

Secondly (this is where the poll comes into play) , do you think the Black SS Watch will look good with a Sport Band?

No way. The only watch that it goes with is the Black SS. Whoever bought that will already have one. Very few people with a normal SS or Sport will want it. It's going to be hard to sell.

However, I think the Sport band will look good with it.

It will likely be easier to sell after the watch has been out for some time. Someone is bound to scratch/damage their bracelet and look to buy a fresh one (or just to have a spare).

Someone who bought a Sport or low-end SS, might certainly want one.

You might have to charge a little less then $500, maybe $400

Not if Apple decides to make it available for purchase separately down the line, especially once the novelty wears off and if they release more compatible bands for the Space Black SS case.

Your crazy. The Link Bracelet will look much better than the sport band. If you want that look, just buy the space grey Sport watch and save yourself a ton of money.

Yep, I think it will look fine with a sport band. I'd stick with black. I also think you'll like the link bracelet once you see it in person.

I don't want the Space Grey Sports watch because of the cheaper materials used on the watch itself. I'm hoping I will like the link bracelet more once I see it in person but I doubt it.

I think you will like the Link Bracelet more in person and also the ingenuity of it may impress you more as well.
I wouldn't be too impressed about the materials difference between Sport and AW. It is largely marketing hype and not really much value. In fact the lighter weight aluminum body might actually be the better product.

I'm with you, I was so pissed that they only offer it with the link bracelet that is $500. It would look insanely good with black sport band.

I definitely agree. Black SS with Black Sport Band is the darkest possibility for any Apple Watch combo.

So if you buy the black ss, it comes with the black link bracelet? I was planning on getting the black ss 42" with a black and green sports band and maybe the Milanese loop, either down the line or all at the same time?

Didn't know u have to get the link bracelet?

Yes, the only way to get the space black case is to get the space black link bracelet with it.
