i'll have to do it through best buy.

NO!! You are still under the 1 year warranty, so have it replaced by Apple. Save your PSP from Best Buy until after the Apple warranty is over.

Only go back to Best Buy if you are still within the 30 day return period. Then return the iPod and PSP, and buy a new iPod and a new PSP.

iPods are claimed to be the best Portable Music Jukebox....if it's the best

How come they have defects?

nothing is perfect. life would be too easy.

Nothin is perfect?
I thought it was no one is perfect?

Anyway, I would say this desk im using is pretty perfect.

Hold my Pc and printer, has 3 drawers....Pretty perfect to me....

Same with this clock on my desk, works perfectly, so it's perfect....

So if my desk and clock and everything else on my desk is pretty much good, how come the iPod aint?

My iPod is perfect. I don't have any problems with it. Not a 1. Some people have bad ones. Find me a product that doesn't have at least 1 bad one that someone unfortunetly gets. You can't. Apple is not always perfect. Sometimes you get a bad batch of a product (white spots on P'Books, logic boards on iBooks, static on some minis). You are only going to hear about the bad ones.

The reason you don't hear much about the bad Dell DJs are because you don't hear anything about them. No ones buys them.

That's what warranties are for. Stuff breaks. Sometimes you get an employee who can't or won't help you. You just have to talk to somebody else unfortunetly. Apple is simply the sum of it's parts, with some not-so-good employees and some production issues.

Thank you. So here we have it folks....nobody and nothing is perfect. If you were perfect you wouldn't be "iSuck" you'd be "iPerfect". Well, actually the iPod could be iPerfect if it was. A world of negativity we live in... That's why the 6 o'clock news is depressing.

I just got my iPod today and it has the same thing in sort of a t-shape. I'll call them and see if they'll send me a new one too. This sucks.....

Hmm, after a couple of hours it totally disappeared so maybe it was just a temporary thing, I hope so anyway.

How could it disappear? Maybe it was the light you were in or some residue on the screen?

No, it wasn't on the top of the display but underneath it. I tried it in different light, outdoors, inside under light, in dark with backlight and it was always there but after I charged it and used it for an hour or two it disappeared. Dunno......

It comes more often during dusk and sunrise....
