I have the S3 and don't have 4.0.1. Must be a slow roll out.I have the S1 AW and I'm having the same issues with Twitter and Facebook notifications. Also, I still don't have the ability to update to 4.0.1 which makes me wonder if it's because my AW is the S1 or if it's slow roll out.
I think 4.0.1 is only for the S3 GPS+Cellular model (not the GPS only model)I have the S3 and don't have 4.0.1. Must be a slow roll out.

The update was to fix the connectivity issue that some were having which is why it is only needed on the cellular models. I would guess from the below message that it didn’t fix the blank icon issue.Even then, has it been confirmed that the 4.0.1 update fixes this? My gut would say it wouldn't, otherwise this would be rolled out to all devices. Hoping 4.0.2 fixes this, but I'm not sure if this is an iOS level issue or WatchOS issue.
I wonder when this is going to get fixed? Just did the update that came out to 4.0.1 and the issue is still here.

I am also having this issue. Really bad for my OCD.
Glad to see I'm not the only one. All other app notifications are fine, but Snapchat seems to give me a generic icon when I get a notification. I did a hard reset on my watch, but it still persists.
Not a huge deal, but hopefully a fix is implemented soon.
**EDIT** I noticed this is also happening for Twitter notifications as well. Bleacher Report and WhatsApps icons are fine when I receive them on my watch though.
I don't even see Twitter in the list of available apps to install from the Watch app.Are the apps actually installed on the Watch or are they just mirroring iPhone notification. I found that if I installed the apps, the issue went away...

But other iPhone apps that don't have a Watch app available are showing the correct icon.Twitter removed their watch app in the last update
