Blank App Icon on Notifications Watch OS 4

Bit shoddy isn’t it ? I appreciate some bugs are very hidden and are only discovered in time. But this is bloody obvious.

I have the S3 and don't have 4.0.1. Must be a slow roll out.

Even then, has it been confirmed that the 4.0.1 update fixes this? My gut would say it wouldn't, otherwise this would be rolled out to all devices. Hoping 4.0.2 fixes this, but I'm not sure if this is an iOS level issue or WatchOS issue.

The update was to fix the connectivity issue that some were having which is why it is only needed on the cellular models. I would guess from the below message that it didn’t fix the blank icon issue.

Not a huge deal, but hopefully a fix is implemented soon.

**EDIT** I noticed this is also happening for Twitter notifications as well. Bleacher Report and WhatsApps icons are fine when I receive them on my watch though.

Odd, it does it to me on Bleacher Report but no other apps I have installed. A little annoying but I am sure it will get sorted out soon.

I can confirm that 4.0.1 has not fixed this bug. Still getting blank icons on notifications for Twitter and Facebook.
 
LTE and 4.0.1 and the Snap icon does not show when getting an incoming snap (or it says so and so is typing). When you go back to your notifications, then the icon shows up. This happened a few times with other apps but only once or twice.
 
Twitter and offer up do not display correctly for me. I have tried setting up as a new watch, rebooting, turning on and off notifications, etc. worked fine before os4 for me.
 
Are the apps actually installed on the Watch or are they just mirroring iPhone notification. I found that if I installed the apps, the issue went away...
