Whenever I put my mac to sleep and then I turn it on again, for some reason the bluetooth is turned on (I turn it off every time before closing the lid) and it won't let me turn it off or pair any device either. The only solution is to restart the computer, which is a pain in the ass. Any suggestions?

I just tried sleeping my 2017 MBP, turning it back on and the bluetooth turns off and on just fine, and I can pair with my Bluetooth headphones and keyboard/mouse no problem.

Sounds like a bug, you may want to try resetting the NVRAM and SMC to see if that clears up the issue.
