BookBook iPhone 5

Current BookBook owners, how is it using the phone in the case? What's the normal holding position I'd gravitate to? I'm left handed, so I assume I would just flip the cover over most of the time. Also, does the BookBook fold into a stand? I thought I saw that before.
Those are my only concerns about this case compared to other wallet cases. But I've been waiting on it for so long I think I will just order it.
Unsure on the colors. As I mentioned before, brown looks surprisingly classy compared to before. Not that hard to decide, though. It's just the case, not the phone.

Geez, I've been waiting on this since launch and very disappointed...they ruined the organic look and feel of the case with this new holding method...the addition of the camera hole should have had no impact on the new design...have they not heard "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" ?

I do have one on my iPhone 4. I use it mainly for travel and for the fact it is kind of a retro look. But, to be honest, I don't talk a lot on the phone. It is not the best case for holding for a long period of time.
It's a little stiff to fold into a stand.
But anyway, I like it enough to order one for the 5! I ordered one in black (since my wife has my brown for the 4). It's a personal choice, of course, but I really like the new way the phone is mounted.
This is a good question and the main reason I didn't order the new Bookbook after having one for my iPhone 4. I never liked using the phone with it in the Bookbook (talking on the phone, texting, surfing internet, playing games). I really liked it as a wallet/case, but it was awkward to use while on the phone....I found myself removing it from the Bookbook a lot, especially when talking on the phone.
I purchased a DODOcase for my iPhone 5 so I can easily remove it from the pouch when talking on the phone. I've been using it for over a month now and am very pleased.
I think the new frame to hold the phone is a big improvement. I've owned 4 Bookboooks for iPhone 4 as my pet rabbit kept chewing them and I found that the phone was able to slip out too easily with the old design.
If you prefer the older style order a knockoff from eBay. I've just ordered one of each colour from 12S, hope they show up soon.
BTW that dodo pouch thing looks hideous.

I wanna know the release date for the bookbook for the iPhone 5.
Anyone remember how long it took before they released one for the 4S?

Go to your nearest Apple store and pick one up. They have plenty of them there. Also you might be able to get it at the Apple store online. I picked one up for mine at the Apple store and they had about 10 of them hanging there on the shelf .
I usually don't care for cases, but the bookbook ones look really nice. I actually prefer the old style over the new one b.c I always slipped it out when talking...the new case kind of makes that impossible. Also it is just a tad bigger...making it awkward in pockets.
Its no problem when talking once you open the flap and fold it back....for me it actually feels better holding to talk than without a case, gives you more to hold on to...however one handed operation is a pain and this is my only fault with this style case....im used to texting etc with only one hand and its awkward to hold one handed, but that would be the "case" with any wallet case this style.
The flap covers up the rear microphone which others have stated causes call quality to be absolute garbage. It's like they didn't test the call feature when making this case. That and it resembles a ****ing bible.
