I wish Apple had released the 6 Plus two weeks after the 6

Doubt that would have solved the problem. Seems like Apple could have put store models on the floor on the day of the Keynote and let people go in the store and have a look before they placed their order. The problem is you can never really know until you see it in person.

Wife and I both got our 6+'s yesterday, I am keeping mine even though I have always carried my 5 in my button down shirt pocket the 6+ will not allow me to button the pocket so I will have to find shirts with bigger pocket, get a belt clip, or carry in pants pocket. We have already called and made estrangements to swap the other 6+ for a 6 but Sprint says it's 4-6 weeks out.

I think they could have shortened the 6+ 4-5mm at the top bezel & all my shirts would still work. lol

Not quite true... Plenty of folks just have a ginormous phablet and no other computing devices at all. I couldn't do that, but many do.

Just because people use it TO replace their tablet doesn't make it a tablet replacement. Designed for different uses even though they can do the same thing. I ride a bike because it can take me from one place to another but it certainly doesn't replace my car.......see?

I prefer the 6 for the reasons why people are complaining about the 6+. It just fits much better in the hand.

Having said that, if I had a 6+ and was on the fence, I'd give it a few more days. You might just need an adjustment period.

You can only blame Apple for doing this. They should have had demo units right after the announcement. People would have had 2 full days before pre-orders went live and another 7 days before going into the store to make a logical decision. The returns and exchanges are going to be massive just because of size. And people that really wanted the iPhone 6 plus will be screwed because people are returning them for the smaller units which apparently Apple made more of. But this will allow Apple to have huge sales and they now have plenty of refurbs for warranty swaps.
I was one of those people that wanted a 6 plus but after playing with both for an hour I went with a 6. Got tired of using huge phones so I'm going small on the go and using a tablet at home.
In all honesty Apple should have made one 4.7" model this month and then release the 6 plus in 6 months. This is one thing Samsung did correctly with the Galaxy and Note series. There was no arguments over which one to pick.
You're overreacting.

After using the 6 Plus since yesterday I'm still blown away by the huge display but holding the thing for long periods of time is pretty uncomfortable for me. Landscape mode is really nice and works well with the large screen.

I think I'll hold on to it for now. If I already owned an iPad Mini to use at home or on-the-go, I would have probably gone with the smaller 4.7" version just for better comfort and portability.

I got the iPhone 6+but after playing with it for a day it just feels "annoyingly" big to me going to change it out for a iPhone 6 today.

Anyone else?

Can you tell me how that went? I mean, did you have to wait on line with everyone else who were buying their iphones? Did you get the 6 you wanted right away? Was it in an apple store or carrier? Etc. Please quote me so I see that you responded. Thanks!

Where as I ride a bike because I don't want to own a car or pollute the planet! See? :p

What I'm getting at is that it (as a device) can be seen to fill different needs.

I don't see it as an iPad replacement either, but many do! Using as their sole device, having no computer either.

i had preordered it but i went to the store today to check them both out and as soon as i saw the 6 Plus i literally started to laugh out loud in the middle of the store because i was so SHOCKED at how huge it is. no freakin way. i cancelled my order and got the 6 in store instead.

makes no sense to carry a surfboard in my front pockets if i already got an iPad for my "bigger" needs. i knew it was gonna be big but not THIS big. my sister saw it and was like "oh cool is that the new iPad Mini?"
