How does FedEX kill your puppies? I've got to hear this story.

Up next on NPR: "FedEx punches puppies"

I've been boycotting FedEx for 3 years. Ever since their drivers were responsible for the death of a total of 6 of our pups on 3 different occasions. the last time, we took them to court and sued for the 4 deaths they were responsible for. Now they are no longer allowed on our property and any online company I order from, that cannot use UPS, loses our business.

FedEx Fail for iPad 4

i posted the below run-in with FedEx in the iPad 4 delivery forum:

mine went out for delivery this morning. i have off today from work so i've been waiting for the guy to come. i hear the front screen door open, then a slight thud, then the sound of the screen door closing. i walked down stairs to see a delivery label on my door and the FedEx guy get getting back into his truck and drove off. the guy never rang the door bell, never knocked, nothing. just slapped the label on and ran away despite it being obvious that my family is home - the lights were on, tons of cars are in my driveway....i mean what the hell.

now i have to take a special trip to FedEx tonight at 5pm on Thanksgiving Eve when traffic will be a disaster

this is typical FedEx. with FedEx you almost need to be standing outside on your porch smoking a cigarette waiting for them to come in order to get your package on the expected delivery day.

you can call up and complain all you want, but drivers are not reviewed for how many packages are successfully delivered, but rather how quickly they finish their route. less time on the road, less gas, less labor costs, etc.

I want you to get mad!

I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot. I don't want you to write to your Congressman, because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street.

All I know is that first, you've got to get mad.

You've gotta say, "I'm a human being, dammit! My life has value!"

So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out and yell,

"I'm as mad as hell,

and I'm not going to take this anymore!!"

Funny thing, you'd think your supposed court case would be public record. Got a link? I think there is some exaggeration here.

I think boycotting them is as effective as telling people not to pump gas on April 15th.

I was going to start my own thread about boycotting UPS since they killed 4 of our kittens in a dastardly curbside skidding pull-over, but I figured I'd just post it here.

Legalities are pending.

Moar fish!

unless one lives very very far from a retailer, why do folks have something like this shipped? Apple, Walmart, Best Buy, etc. etc.

And if you can be home waiting for delivery, I guess you had the time to go to a store and buy it. Plus it was March, not like these devices were not readily available most anywhere at a store.

Yep. Ordering via shipping, at this point, is just postponing the pleasure of unboxing your new device for absolutely no reason at all. Unless you're an invalid or something.

Ridiculous.

This thread is OVER A YEAR OLD.Thanks a lot for bumping it.

If the OP was all cappy like he was about the delivery of his iPad 3, I can only imagine how things went when the iPad 4 was announced just 6 months later!

What ever happened with this? Did he get his iPad?

my question, too ? OP never replied back on what ever happened to his issue. i had same issue but different shipping co. i called the shipper and told them that my package was received and signed for but never arrived at my doorstep. the shipper gladly shipped me another one.

in fairness to fedex, they've been handling my packages well. ups is bad as they usually will not deliver on time eventhough it says that my package is out for delivery on their website. this happened to me more than 3 times already and yet UPS main office is only 5 miles from my residence.

So you know not to pump gas! ITS WORKING!!! DONT PUMP GAS THE 15TH!!

I got a nice package from FedEx today, so there!

I hate it when someone comes on here and posts "relax" or in this case, "breathe".

The op is very pissed and I would be also. The op probably works hard for his money and when he forks over his hard earned money, he expects it to at least arrive to his house.

Asking him to "breathe" is such a troll and a waste of a post.

Dittos . . .

This exact situation happened to me. I was sitting looking out the window all afternoon when FedEx claimed they had tried to deliver the package. This was the second time they tried since they failed to change the address like I had previously asked.

They then sent the item back to Texas....

I decided to go to a store and buy a more expensive item after being fed up. FWIW, I haven't found UPS much better. I've actually had the best luck with USPS.

That's terrible, simple terrible.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but can I ask why pups are running around on the road? Or do you live on a property where the driver must come onto your land? Your story has me stumped as to the causality of these awful events.

UPS, FedEx, and the USPS all have an equal chance of running over your dogs if they are running around like that.

you can hardly blame FedEx as there is nothing about that particular company that makes them prone to running over dogs. you might have had an @$$hole driver, true. but the UPS driver could turn into an @$$hole just as easily. again, there is nothing about the FedEx culture that makes them run over dogs.

there is a problem with FedEx corporate policy when it comes to delivery packages - they are not properly leaving slips and ringing door bells.

The more I read post like this the more I understand the Forest Gump quote.
Stupid is as stupid does.

Three quick quick thoughts:
First, I wasn't aware FedEx shipped puppies from puppy mills to buyers.
Did the puppies die from heat exposure or lack of water?
(Good to know.)

Second, to the guy who 'boycotted' FedEx and went to purchase the same item at his local electronics store: You realize it was probably delivered there by FedEx, no?

Now I forgot what the third thing was. . .

Happens to me all the time. Wait until you get a little older...if you think it's bad now, you ain't seen nothing yet. Getting old is just a joy!!

And back on topic...good points. And the third one was probably the best of all. Too bad...:p

:rolleyes::D
