Interesting. I found the complete opposite. Much more impressive bass than the Airpods (as far as bass can be impressive in earphones).
Again, completely different experiences. Dropouts are rare (about the same as on the Airpods), and volume is more than loud enough for me.
Audio transparency works just fine when paired to a computer. I'm using it right now.
I am using a 2011 iMac with macOS, the support email from Bragi stated that they had received several complaints from other iMac users when trying to use the Audio Transparency feature while using an iMac. The exact problem I was having was that when I turned on Audio Transparency, the right ear transparency would engage but the left one would not. If I disconnected from the iMac, the transparency would enable for both headphones.
if you use the foam tips the bass is better ( than AirPods (that I think is subjective)) but they are less comfortable to me than the silicon small tips. the foam tips also make it inconvenient for charging the device because you now need to push down on the headphone into the charging case to ensure the contacts are made.

Strange. As I mention in my review thread, I've had great coverage with The Headphone. No drops whatsoever with phone in various locations. Also, no issues putting them in the case with the foam tips. It really is amazing how different experiences are with the same products. Not just with The Headphone, but even with the AirPods![]()
so when I go out on a run I leave all my devices behind except for my iPhone SE. I assumed at the beginning that maybe the SE was not fully compatible? so I paired the headphone with my iPhone 7. I wear a fitbit Blaze, I use it for controlling the volume and switching tracks. After a couple of days I noticed that drop outs were still common even though I was now listening on the iPhone 7. I tried both an Nexus 5P and the Samsung S6 and the problem persisted, though with the Sammy it occurred less often but the left headphone did stop functioning after prolonged use (i don't think it was a battery issue but it did require me to dock both headphones).
so how often are the dropouts? not often. I didn't document exactly how often it was occurring but it occurred at least 2 to 3 times during a 1 hour jog for a brief second. At my desk where the Phones are stationary, I still had drop outs.
in contrast, while the AirPods have had an audio drop out, I generally don't notice this at my desk, or on a jog. In contrast the cheap Amazon GoNovate earphone never drops out. (audio quality is mono and is not on par with the Bragi or the AirPods).
