Wait. You actually go to McDonald's for burgers? Are you in one of those sad and lonely places that don't have In-n-Out? I feel so sad for you.

;-)
And I feel sad for someone who has to have a shot at someone who does things differently to you. Judgmental much?

I think it’s silly for consumers to be ok with their vendors eliminating goods and services than maintaining and even increasing the price of what is being sold. They should knock 30 bucks off the cost of the phones for not including a charger.
With the price of silicon and parts like the modem price increasing per unit, the loss of the chargers logically subsidised those things. Or would you prefer they raise the price of the phone with the charger?

The exact same thing happens with foods where the sizes are reduced and the price remains the same. Why aren’t people here so concerned about that? Oh yeah, Apple are evil. 🙄

Here's a thought: why couldn't Apple sell two versions of the iPhone, one with charger in the box and one without? Then the customer could choose, and everyone would be happy. You could either choose to save money and help the environment a little by buying the charger-less version, or go for the convenience and pay slightly more for the charger version.
Or how about sell you the phone and can charge extra for a battery. Or you can use the Qi charger you already have. Or you can use the MagSafe charger you may have or want to buy.

Its simple. Sell the phone and buy the accessories you want.

Mcdonald's has the best French fries. Hands down. 👌🏻 They also have the best Coca-Cola. Not sure what it is but it hits differently. In n Out is cool but it’s always so busy 😂
You do know that they put dextrose, a sweeting additive in their French fries, don't you ;) They taste good, but oh my, the calories... and the additives they list are kind of questionable, if you are one of those kind of people who watches what you eat. 19 ingredients in a McD French fry.

So here you have it folks, a company willing to forgo and risk $US15 Million Dollars for the sake of what? Yes, if you are selling an electrical product, it should absolutley come with a means to power it up,..no matter the circumstances. If they can risk this much money, why not just up the wages of retail staff across the world?
It can be charged by plugging it into a USB port. If it didn’t include a charging cable, there would be a stronger argument that Apple is being unreasonable. My phone sanitizer and my Anker wireless charging pad both did not come with a charging brick and both were bought before Apple removed their charger.

USB based charging is already more standardized than regular wall power. Different plug styles, 50hz/60hz, 120v/240v.

I mean, using that logic, you can argue that any accessory should be included. Where do you stop? Should a case be included? Headphones? How about Macs that are sold without Final Cut Pro X? I mean, without FCPX you can't do pro-video on the mac!

Apple should be able to sell each item a la carte. Just want the phone? Why pay for a charger too -- need just a charger, why pay for anything other than a charger? Bundling unneeded hardware is just wasteful.

This is just silly...
Cases are not mandatory to have the phone working on day 1. Apple started a trend not in the name of the environment as they would like you to think. Remove your fanboy rose colored glasses.

And there is the transition from 5w>15w–>25w. Apple should give people the option to include one or not for free, or offer discount (donate the cost to charity).

Next step: Brazil fines Apple $1.5 trillion dollars for failing to ship iPhones with protective cases.

Different from petrol, the longer an electronic products powered by Li-Ion batteries stays on the shelf unopened, the greater the chance that the customer will not be able to power up the unit at all once they unbox it.
Thats just looking for excuses. The octane level of petrol goes down over time too. Your point has been rejected. 😂

Give an example when a person bought an iPhone off the shelf and it was flat. If a car has lower octane than it is supposed to have, it can damage it.

The real reason why Apple is not providing a charger or a vouture is not becuase of the environment, it's because they want a higher profit margin.
The real reason why Apple is not providing a charger is because they can keep the price the same for the phone, so it looks better for advertising. All of the independent costings (albeit are best guesses) show that the manufacture of the phone has increased. But if you want to pay the extra for inflation, then go for it. Because that could be a legitimate price increase right there with zero comeback.

Actually, I understand that Li-Ion batteries can degrade more rapidly (= sustain damage) when left to discharge for extended periods of time.

I actually have purchased an Apple product that did not have a charge left when I unboxed it before, an iPhone XR. To be fair, the product was left in stock for quite a while and had not sold, so a year might have passed since it had been charged. Anyway, I've come to realize that the "charge" that comes with your electronic product is optional o_O

Um

The prices have gone up

I don't have an iPhone and probably never be able to afford one. The fact that some electronics companies do not include a charger with their devices (I didn't know that was the case with iPhones) is despicable. I am glad I am poor not being able to pay my bills so that I don't succumb to peer pressure and buy one. I kid, I kid, I don't have any peers.

Still despicable though.

Chump change for Apple. Apple already made double the amount of profit without inputting the Apple charger on iPhones and charging $19 for a 5W Apple Charger in today's era.

Brazil- Did you know Samsung is selling Android devices without including a charger as well. Go after Samsung ➡️➡️➡️
I bought an S22 and there is a website from Samsung to request the free charger, they delivered in 3 days. They followed the justice order rather than running away like Apple.

They did, but inflation...

You have just claimed that Apple removed the charger from the box so they could sell the phone at the same price in the face of increased costs.

They have put the phones prices up in many countries, including Brazil, so that argument doesn't stand up.
When they first took the charger out (iPhone 12), the price did not increase, at least here in Australia. Obviously, with the way the world is, there has been inflation since then.

The 11 Pro & 12 Pro were both $1199 On release (128GB)

Interesting. How are cordless power tools sold in Brazil? Do they not have the option of buying the bare tool?
Plus they should come with all accessories and safety equipment. You can’t use a power tool without safety equipment, so that should come too. I can see Apple winning this appeal. The court needs to be consistent.
