For the record. Elton was good when he started. he hasn't done anything decent since the eighties.
I wasn't implying that because he's had #1 hits he's good (Nitty, anyone?). But being in the top 40 for three decades is evidence that he can evolve his style and have staying power, rather than Britney who I predict may release one more album and then burn out. Anyone who can have John Lennon on his hands and knees bowing to him must be pretty good. And some of his later stuff like the Lion King soundtrack and Sacrifice is good, but yeah, most of the other stuff is filler.
Limp Bizkit, didn't listen to their last album much, but did anyone else notice the Apple ad inside the album? The last page had the "Think Different" ode and the logo
And yes, Kurt Cobain and Layne Stayley were both good. Although it's annoying when I talk about Nirvana and Alice in Chains they go "Alice who?". And when I play any of it they just say "oh, 80s hair metal crap."
