I remember Bryan Cranston in Seinfeld but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about it. I think the first time I took notice was his Buzz Aldrin in From the Earth to The Moon. I'm glad to see he's finally getting his due. And that switch that I like to call Walt/Heisenberg shows that he's got even more up his sleeve. I have watched all of season 5 one episode at a time and it's painful to have to wait a week at a time to see these episodes.

I watched him for years in Malcolm in the Middle. Talk about a role 180 degrees different from Walt.

I'm not sure how Bryan Cranston does it, but he somehow manages to look so fragile and timid one second, and then menacing the next. He was practically begging for Hank to back down, and then something in him changed and he threw out a threat so menacing, yet subtle, that I was floored.

I was rewatching the first season and I was just floored at how well he has played all the emotions and made the character grow. Obviously the writers are very responsible for that but I seriously doubt many other actors could have pulled it off as successfully as he did.

BB might be my favorite show of all time. It has set the bar so high, I don't think I'll ever appreciate another show this much. I am really looking forward to the final episodes, as sad as I will be to see it end I'm glad they are doing it on their own terms.

I came across this article, it does contain spoilers and potential spoilers so click with caution. Pretty interesting read! It's all these nuances that make the show so damn rewatchable. Not one episode failed to deliver.

Now that it's ending, I just started working my way through the seasons (currently on 2). Truly some of the best TV I've ever seen. I was shocked to read that had Gilligan known of Weeds, he'd have never pitched BB to anyone... what a loss that would've been.

I watched up until the midpoint of season 5 (where the last eight episodes pick up) in a few weeks. Now, I can't wait for the finale to see how it all comes out (I've heard that there will be no loose ends). But I'm sure going to miss the show and all the characters, even the annoying ones. :)

WOW!!! What an episode tonight and what an ending. Just incredible.

As some others here I'm a late comer. I watched the first two episodes when the show premiered and it didn't grab my interest at all even though the sorry sounded interesting. Last year as the end of season 4 was approaching I decided to give it another try based on all the hype.

So I started watching again, and again at first I couldn't really get into it but pushed on. I binged the first season still not fully convinced. To me the show hit its stride about half way through the second season. And from then on I became a big fan.

Now only 5 episodes remain so each of the next 5 should be fairly explosive. I can't wait to see the grand finale.

I love iTunes for this reason. No waiting a year for the episodes to show on Netflix when I will get tonights episode in a few hours.

Just watched last ep oh ****** Jessie is walking on thin ice.....or could this be a clever ploy for the Directors to make us think he is going to get killed?

And Walts DVD he make for Hank was brilliant.

I know! I thought of that too. I bet Walt gets to the house before Jesse lights the match.

I'm guessing Jesse will have one of his emotional breakdowns and not be able to go through with it. Also, don't forget the DEA was tracking him, and the order to stop may not have been received yet.

Good point and certainly a possibility. So we have Walt and the DEA looking for Jesse. I wonder who gets to him first.

It would be incredible for the DEA to find Jesse at Walt's house, and then to have Jesse start spilling the beans. All of a sudden, Hank and his unexplained 170k start to become an issue beyond the threat.

And the APD was also talking to Jesse too. I forgot about that.

Also, don't forget that Saul has more than his fair share of contacts. He called someone, presumably Walt, but they didn't say for sure.

The DEA was only watching him, they wouldn't actually burst into the house and apprehend him.

However, there is still a possibility of the DEA agents seeing Walt confront Jesse in the house. Wonder how Hank would deal with that?
