It's a great show. Walter White is a great and well performed character. That being said, I think the show is overrated (people honestly think it's the best television show ever) when you consider some of the weaker performances in the show (I, for one, hate the portrayal of Skyler White in particular).

Interestied to see how they end it.

How did I not realise my favourite site had a forum dedicated to Breaking Bad?!

Best show on TV. I'm in the UK and watching a live stream of AMC every Monday Morning, and then watching it on Netflix during the day when its out.
Loving it, but its getting so tense!

I actually think that there's too much credit given to Walter White as Heisenberg. While he is smart and devious he's also a bumbling fool sometimes that happens to get very lucky.

last night's episode was a perfect example . Holy Crap ! indeed !

RIP Hank? RIP Gomez? RIP Jesse? RIP Todd?
I'm excited to see how the gun battle resolves!
Where will Walt move the cash next?

I have to say that I am absolutely upset and hate the producers and writers for allowing the show to end suddenly as it did forcing us to wait another week. It's just not fair.

RIP Hank? RIP Gomez? RIP Jesse? RIP Todd?

It seems all but impossible that at least some of the major characters aren't going to make it out of that gunfight alive. (Although, to be honest, I found it surprising that they managed to get off so many rounds already without at least one of them drawing blood. And how many rounds does Hank's service weapon hold?)

But killing Hank or Jesse at this stage seems somewhat premature. We've spent the best part of six years setting up the showdown between Walter, Hank, and Jesse. And for one or more of them to be written out of the script with three hours to go? Then again, The Sopranos killed off Christopher Moltisanti four episodes before the finale.

But how does the shootout pan out? It seems all but impossible that Walt can head back to the carwash at this stage. He's confessed to multiple murders on tape, and his cash stash is thoroughly blown. Regardless of the immediate fate of Hank or Steve Gomez, it seems inevitable that the DEA, plus every cop in the country, is going to be gunning for Walt. So we've got a perfect explanation for what sends Walt off to New Hampshire to grow some hair.

One theory that did pop into my head is that somehow Walt manages to convince people (the DEA, Marie Schroeder, Skyler even...) that he is dead. We haven't seen much evidence of Walt's genius in the last few episodes, and if anyone has the smarts and the resources to convincingly fake his own death - it would be Walt. And it might also explain the look at shock and amazement that came over his former neighbor when he appeared at the cold-open of this season.

Great episode.

If Hank his partner & Jessie don't survive the gunfight- nobody else know's the money is there.
Or, did I miss something.

Its going to be very difficult for Walt to keep the money he buried. If Hank, Steve Gomez and Jesse were all killed in the shootout (something I think is unlikely) the DEA, cops, etc. would still go over the site with a fine-tooth comb as part of the investigation. And even if the cops didn't get the money, I don't think Todd's uncle and the rest of the neo-Nazi crew are going to let Walt waltz away with ~$60 million in unmarked bills.

My guess is that, once the series finale is over, all that Walt will have left his family is the car-wash. And there is something "just" about that. He won't have left his kids penniless, but his life of crime won't have left them multimillionaires either. It'll probably work out pretty close to the $670,000 that Walt calculated he needed to leave for his family back in Season 1.

I keep getting more and more pissed off at Jesse. Hopefully that POS dies a horrible death at the end.

Jesse is the POS? Look at list of who they've lied to, manipulated and killed. What makes Walt the better person in this?

That being said, last night's episode had my heart hammering at the end.

Best episode yet. The final 20 mins had me on the edge of my seat!

Anyone else think it ironic that the 'Nazi's' at the start were complaining about something being not pure enough. Kinda ironic don't you think. Vince Gilligan is a genius.

Didn't even catch that! I love the subtleties that are in this show.

Holy crap!

Holy crap indeed!

That's a very good theory and one that I think could work too.

If we're going to compare Jesse and Walt, Jesse is the more moral of the two by far, terms being relative of course. Remember how difficult it was for Jesse to kill Gale? Then the amount of torment and anguish he felt for so long afterwards? Yet, Walt tried to kill Brock, a child, and never even shown a glint of remorse or apprehension about it.

Boy, is it next week yet?

This is far more exciting than anything Apple is planning for tomorrow. :p

wowwy wow wow!!!! can't wait for next week... my prediction: Gomez is dead. Jesse sneaks off like a rat. Walt is injured and Hank uses one more of his nine lives and makes it out. I think Walt WILL get some of his money before faking his death and getting away to the northeast for the year. SOOOOO good :)

This was the most cliff hanger type episode this series has had so far

Ugh wasn't a fan when I saw the credits pop up lol
