I think Favre is probably better than half of the starting QBs in the league, but not the cream of the crop QB he had been in younger years.

Heck, if Big Ben or the "lesser" Manning brother can be on a Super Bowl winning team, why not an old, slightly worn out legend like Favre?

What an attention whore he is.

He acts all humbly and like some local yokel, but he wants and loves the spotlight.

The only enjoyment I'll get is when he starts putting up some serious interception numbers this season.

In all honesty, the vikings on paper could possibly be a better team with him, but his club house behavior, how well he embraces the team and be a leader on the team will really dictate that.

Based on the comments from the jets, he was a detached prima dona who skipped meetings and avoided being with his teammates.

i hope he breaks a leg

Hmmm...can't say I'd ever hope he gets hurt, but I don't see his time with the Vikings amounting to much other than a talking point for the sports media. Which I suppose is exactly what he's looking for.

Heh! That's hilarious! Lee, you never disappoint. :D:D

I put the Tom Brady "Brokeback Mountain" cowboy shot of him laying in the hay on my desktop at work during football season. :) People get confused. "I thought you didn't like football?" "I don't, but I like that." ;)

OK, that's it! Who here can put us in touch with Brett's people? :)

I think the Bears, Packers and Lions fans should welcome Favre signing with the Vikings. He did a great job for the Dolphins towards the latter half of last season.
