So I get my iPad pro today from b&h, and I notice when giving pressure(not too much) there is a bright wave-like spot on the left side of the screen. Is that normal? I don't want to return to b&h because I guess it will take too long, but if it's an abnormal issue I will just return it. thanks!

If it's near the home button, it's fairly normal. A side effect of laminated display. You can confirm this at an Apple store by doing the same with floor models.

There’s no home button on the 11 inch, but I’ll confirm it’s normal. Very thin glass, a few threads on here discuss it, and it was confirmed on some demo models at the Apple Store.

It’s people that accept this **** that make me sad! Don’t accept **** from companies who tell you this bollox

Bollox... I like that term. Must be British! Yeah, I agree. The anomalies with the 10.5 Pro I found unacceptable. Primary reason for returning and going with regular iPad.

So I was just pressing on my 11” screen in random areas, and I don’t see anything at all. I’m sure I can make something happen with more force, but I’m not pushing that hard lol. If it really is very light pressure that sounds kind of strange.

Are you returning it?

I don’t think it’s normal. Same with tps3443, mine doesn’t do that but I saw some videos on YouTube where people have that. Personally loving the iPad but I would definitely get a replacement or return it if mine has that.
