So I did it... Broke the screen on my plus. Never have broken a screen before and I have owned every single iPhone. Luckily I have applecare+, but I was wondering if anyone has tried to take a plus in under warranty yet? Will they even have stock for replacements or am I sol for the time being? luckily the break is on the bottom corner and not really not he screen but enough to bother me. Highly doubt they are doing in house screen replacements yet.

I even had the zagg glass screen but it doesn't cover the rounded glass edge.

I bet you were all like... Derrrrp, when it happened?

I've cracked mine in both bottom corners in the same place as yours, although not as badly mine are hardly noticeable. But the curved corners definitely seem to be a weak spot I'm actually thinking of getting a case which I was adamant I didn't want initially.

Hell, that looks separated from the frame! How could you not know what caused that? You just noticed it? Wow. I can't believe these screens are that fragile versus old iPhones.

On a side note: "Set down wrong"? It looks like the display is detached on the right side.

Or am I the only one seeing this?

Looking at the image, there is a HUGE gap between the aluminum side and the glass above the crack.

"setting the phone down wrong" will not cause this as it took a good bit of force to result in what I am looking at.

To the OP, you say you just picked it up and it was broken? Was there opportunity for someone else to handle your phone? Looks like it had an accident!

The glass was no separated from the screen. I don't know why people keep thinking that. There is a glare on the image.

When I say I don't know what broke it, I literally have no idea. There was no drop. With it being on the lower right side of the phone, thats usually tucked away in my palm and not really in the line of sight. Its not like I had some drunken adventure and blacked out. Thats what cased me concern, because what ever broke it had to be a very minor impact.

Everyone keeps saying that because that's what it looks like.

Curved glass...more surface area...more direct impact points on the glass...more money from screen replacements for Apple :D
