Bugs in iOS 8 Beta 3

In portrait orientation within 'Mail', there is no longer access to the pane with all messages (on the left) via an icon at the top left, instead a swipe is required which for some reason has caused frequent resprings for me.
 
Bug:
1. double click Home button always show one recent call ( recent call is cleared before).
2. not always successful send iMessage (must use normal text send).
3. scroll text in iMessage sometime can't read .
 
About iMessage bug, i think it has to do with apple servers. Because on iOS 7.1.2 sometimes send SMS instead of iMessage message.

I think the Raise to speak option is gone. If you check the Siri settings, that option is no longer there. Might be a bug, or maybe they just decided to remove it. It was still there on beta 2 though.
 
Bugs in iOS 8 Beta 3

  • If you open a folder and lock your it will cause the springboard to crash.
  • Upon upgrade install, Touch ID is disabled for iPhone unlock.
 
I am having the issue were the calendar within the today view of the notification center is not updating. For example, this morning it was still showing yesterday's meetings. If I restarted the phone then the meetings are updated. Anyone else?
 
My iPhone 5c sometimes won't wake up, or the slide to unlock is unresponsive, forcing a reboot. I have had each problem twice. It isn't a little freeze-up where it will work later; it's just dead or won't unlock. Forces me to reboot.
 
Couple of bugs I've had are my today view resets itself and shows stocks and calendar when I have turned them of. And whenever I miss a call and look at my recents my phone icon still has a 1 on it.

Safari doesn't like to load pages. Have to kill the app for it to load pages.

It says my photos have 500MB but I have not a single photo on my phone.
 
I could've swore that in Beta 1 and maybe even Beta 2 that Weather showed up in the notification panel. Now in Beta 3 it doesn't show up...at least not for me.

Can someone confirm if weather is still showing up in their notification panel?

Weather is showing in NC as normal for me.
 
dictionary doesn't work on the phone anymore. Can't define any worlds or even correct their spelling when they're underlined in red. safari keeps crashing and quick reply is slow. Back to iOS 7. 🙁((((
 
I'm noticing the battery life is better, but anyone else getting an issue where the battery is essentially dead, but the phone still thinks it's at a decent battery percentage?

Mine was saying 20% or so, but I was wondering why it wasn't charging so I tried restarting it but I couldn't get the slide to unlock screen.

I then forced a phone restart by holding power+home button, then it turns out the battery was essentially out. After charging for a while the phone restarted, as it does when it's fully out of battery.

This has happened twice to me but can't effectively reproduce the bug for a bug report.
 
battery life is better for sure (for me)! i pulled it off the charger 2 hrs ago still at 100%

i did notice imessage been saying can not send.. more than beta 2 but batter better than beta 2..

cant have it all better!!
 
USB and Bluetooth audio output now just outputs static on iPhone 4S, confirmed using my Sony MEX BT3100U car stereo and the wife's Nissan Connect 2 stereo.

Also iTunes match cannot be turned on it just gets stuck in a loop of loading and then dropping back to the music that was already on the device.
 
I get an issue when typing on my iPhone 5. When I type a word that the system doesn't know and the phone underlines it in red, tapping it should give you a suggestion of a word or two to replace it, but nothing shows up, it just highlights the word in red. Anyone else have this? It can be recreated in other apps as well. Restarting does not fix it.
 
Has the feature been added yet for receiving SMS text messages through the Messages app on the iPad? If it has I cannot seem to find how to activate it.
 
Calendar app when viewing a month at a time has two July 14, but one is right and one is August I think.....
 
Cant login on macrumors and some other forums on my iPhone: it wont redirect and when I "click to continue" it goes back to the login screen.
 
So far the only issues I've come across are:

- Featured items in both the App Store and iTunes store that scroll along the top of the screen don't open when tapped.

- Searching for apps in the App Store doesn't work at all

- Text wrapping in the Brief Summary field of the Bug Reporter doesn't work (It's funny when you have to send a bug report for a bug in the Bug Reporter, lol)

- Some icon/graphic alignment issues in 3rd party apps (Facebook, TWC)


These are all on my iPad Air BTW. Other than those small little issues, running smoothly so far.

Edit: There was another thing I noticed. Even though my iTunes showed that it uploaded all of my music, my Music app shows that none of my music is onboard and it shows the icon to download them from iCloud. My Music app doesn't even show up my my Usage list. Very weird, so apparently iTunes didn't install any of my music onto my iPad, even though it showed that it did during the sync.

For me:

- Headphone controls crash Music app and Spotify. Same control on device (song skipping) itself has no issue

- iCloud contacts do not appear. But Facebook contacts do.

- LINE chat app crashes sometimes. I think the keyboard might trigger the crash.

- Texts in various apps do not appear.
