Bumper alternatives to the Apple Bumper (with updates)

So excited for the Tech21 iBand. The video on Youtube (serious impact protection) totally sold me on it. The "bouncing" effect from the D30 blew me away. The iBand looks like it has a good grip to it, too. So I won't need to worry about it being slippery either.

I can't wait to see what other colors they come up with, besides blue. :D 22 more days!!
 
Agent 18 ShockBand in clear is definitely my #1 choice so far.

It's between this and the SwitchEasy Nude in clear. I would really like to see a video on the ShockBand soon - that would help me decide!

Anyone hear any news on the ShockBand?

I looked around and couldn't find anything. No videos/impressions/pics......nothing. I'm also very interested in the Agent 18 Shockband. Looks like it could provide some good protection with minimal intrusion on the iPhone's beauty.

I had to go watch the video too, wow! That stuff looks like it could really provide some protection. I hope it really is like the bumper this time around with no cover on the back. I am excited to see this when it come out, I wish they would hurry it up!
 
Great thread. Thanks for the good work. I personally can't wait for the iBand. I remember watching the video last year about the rubbery product but couldn't remember who made it and I think it will be a great solution for iphone 4 users.

Edit: by the way, looking on their twitter page, looks like the product will be release August 1st. I can't wait. (no pre-orders though directly from them)

Finally somebody is using D3O for something good! I saw this video about D3O months ago and thought it was awesome.

Turns out it's not out yet! I've been e-mailing Agent 18, and by the sounds of it, it looks promising.

The band is made out of TFU and is supposedly highly scratch resistant.

If it's thin, discreet, and doesn't scratch, I'm on board.
