No, they literally say "A dual LED flash on a smartphone is ahead of its time." That's the exact sentence.

I'm a fan of Apple as much as the next guy here. But when people take the piss out of their marketing crap, you can't help but think Apple only ask for it ;)

They're saying it's 'ahead of its' time' as in, most of the competition don't do it, not that they're the first to do it.

Whether that's accurate or not, I have no idea... just wanted to say what I think they're trying to get across.

It's a crazy state of affairs when some feel they have to apologise, defend and reinterpret marketing lies just so they can continue enjoying Apple unabashed.

I don't really want to dwell on this, I'm not a troll here solely to bash Apple or the 5S... But it's very hard to keep a straight face when you read their marketing.

Please excuse me :D

I'm not apologising for them. It's one thing to bash for them for something, but it's another thing to bash them based on your own misinterpretation of what they're saying.

Like I said..I have no idea whether most phones have a dual led flash. If that's a standard rather than a premium feature, then they're talking rubbish clearly. But if most phones don't have that feature, then saying it's 'ahead of its time' isn't a lie. They're not saying it's the first or that they came up with the idea.

The difficulty is that saying something is ahead of its time isn't measurable. They have been known to lie in the past though, saying the iPhone 5 was the thinnest smartphone ever when in fact the Oppo Finder was (at the time). Such a claim IS measurable.

I hate this burst mode, I was so use to holding the button and releasing it when I was I was ready or still, so first time I did this I was like what? this "feature" should be user selectable! hate it....

That's odd, I have no problem tapping quickly on GM, not seen this loading/throbber icon? Could you post a pic?

It wasn't easy to get a screenshot of it but I finally managed. Here you go.

This is the same as burst mode on my 5D....which is exactly how I like it. Let me review the pics and chose the best. But the 5s way of doing it may be better since it's on a phone and not a DSLR. But just pointing out that it's not exactly "burst mode lite".

Precicely.
