I just read about this a few mins ago on the BBC. I felt like puking, and still do. *&^% bastard.

That is just completely shocking, it seemed like there was nothing that led to it at all. It sounds like this guy was a "little messed up in the head," it wasn't a just a murder, he wanted to make sure that this guy had no chance of surviving the attack. I would like to know what his motive was, if there was even one.

Good for you (me too), but truly this is horrific. When i first heard i was just in shock.
Edit: He started stabbing the victim (who had no connection to him) in the neck and the person sitting in front of them turned around and started screaming for help. The bus was stopped and evacuated. Some of the braver passengers re-entered to try and help the victim. He was standing at the back of the bus with the severed head in one hand and the knife in the other. When they ran out he chased and tried to break through the door, a trucker stopped and handed out weapons to keep him in the bus. He repeatedly taunted the passengers at the door with the severed head.
Apparently (and I say apparently because I heard about it and did not see it) on the news they said the attacker was schizophrenic and had an "outburst." I personally don't think this should be used as an excuse for the heinous crime, but he will probably get off on an insanity plea.
Well, I don't think he'll really "get off" in this case, because that will still probably entail a stay in a state hospital for a good portion of the rest of his life.
Disturbing. Some of the most sick stuff I've heard, and the worst part it was my local news since I live in the area. Brandon,MB is in a real shaken state right now. Front page news today, and I'm pretty sure I'll find out I know a few people involved in the event.

Having rode on busses cross-country before, the beheaded-guy must have been running his mouth non-stop.
That's the type of attack one would do on a vampire or someone who is "turning."
It's horribly gruesome and terrifying that something like this would happen in real life. I feel sorry for the victim and his family. Nobody should ever have to face a death like that.
