Buy now or wait?

Silly question maybe.

Why wait? For newer specs i assume. But what about price? When the next Pro comes out are their better deals for the current version? I can get the student discount. I dont need it right now, but i want it. But at the same time i want it at the best price. Actually looking on ebay for a used one. But not adverse to paying full price for a new one. Well, less than full price.

It's pretty hard not to pay full price for a new MBP. Deals somewhere (Microcenter) might get $200 off occasionally but you cannot use student discount.

And though it's a personal opinion, I never buy used computers, Apple or otherwise. It isn't a car or [insert other mechanical device here] that you can thoroughly test out beforehand. You never know how the previous user cared for it or what problems it has until you use it for a couple days.
