The people that are telling to sell my old 2009, I already promised my brother I would give it to him in case I get a new model.
Well the plot thickens. So if you return the new one, that means you will not give it to him? I give up.

Roflmao
Expensive lesson learned.
Lol, yeah, pretty much. If I return the one I just got, I won't give the old one to him. I just feel like its a waste of 2000 bucks, when I already have a pretty good computer. I think it would be more worth it spending the money on the new iPad and a SSD with more GBs.
If he's within 14 days it costs him nothing. Whats so expensive?

The time wasted knowing you did not need it. A impulse buy is a bad buy.
The reason why ur thinking like that is bc ur not recouping any cash out of the old one. Instead of giving away ur old one, sell it and u won't have the remorse.
[...]I guess I just got sucked into the Geekbench score hype.
Ew. Um, why? Like, because they plan to do bad stuff?
So, if I was the person who bought it at the store, would I want the machine with my details on it to go to a person who didn't want their details on it?
fel10 said:So, I recently purchased the new MBP, even though I already had a late 2009 that was working perfectly fine. But after seeing the Geekbench scores, I was like, "wow, gotta have this baby". Yeah I know, stupid me.
For what I do, I don't really see that much of a difference in performance. At least not 2000+ dollars worth. And I can use the money to get the new iPad, and a SSD with more space, cause my 120GB is not enough for me anymore.
So my question is, if I take it back to the Apple store, and say that I'm not satisfied with the product, will they give me my money back, no questions asked???
UPDATE: So, after all this drama, I decided I'm going to keep it. I talked to my brother about my little drama, and I told him I was going to return my new MBP and keep my old one, and I that I rather sell my 2009 and buy the 2011 later, and get the iPad 2 instead. To my surprise, not only he told me he would buy the 2009 from me, but he would also pay for my iPad 2. I did not even think twice about it. So, to sum up, I'm keeping this awesome machine, and getting the iPad 2 next week.![]()
