Bye Bye Vanilla Coke!

I was lamenting the lack of Diet Coke with Vanilla only the other day. Hopefully it'll hit these shores soon and hopefully it won't just be the regular version that gets all vanillafied.
Oooo thanks...mind you I only like the diet stuff and that Coke Zero is horrible...
Unfortunately (for you at least), I haven't seen any sign of the diet version coming back. I'll keep an eye out though.
I can't stand diet drinks. The Zero drinks are better, but there's still a hint of an aftertaste that bothers me.
I've got to say I can't tell the difference between Diet and Zero – I must just not have your discerning palette.I like it a lot, gone right off Diet Coke now. Too citrussy. And all the Coke variants except for Coke Zero are pooey. So there.
sorry but i liked the stuff. the only other way u can get a vanilla coke is if go to a diner and get it. mind you this is a pain because most waitresses have no clue how to make it. one time i got vanilla ice cream and coke. any diner worth of snuff has vanilla suryup. the proper way to make one right is with at least a half an inch of vanilla suryup in the bottom. then and the coke. when i comes to the table the suryup should still be at the bottom, if not it has been made wrrong.
as you can see i really need vanilla coke to be made by coke. yes i know this sounds crazy. no need to point this out to me.

No I tried Coke Zero and didn't like it - too much of a "full" flavour for me, tastes just like the sugary stuff.
Thank God Vanilla Coke is back. It is the only kind of Coke flavor I liked(besides bottled Coke....that stuff is amazing).
I found that vanilla coke makes me burp more than any other soda. Anyone else found that?
I thought I was the only one who did that! I also do it with spiced rum. I always get weird looks from bartenders when I order it.

As for the burping, diet pepsi turns me into the incredible burping machine.
I think you mean the "berries and cream" Dr Pepper? Yeah, I bought a bottle for something interesting to do, and it was nasty! Tasted like grape juice mixed with Dr. Pepper.
Also, if anyone here is thinking of trying the Doritos "X-13" flavor, don't. It's like nacho cheese with some other flavor. It tastes like macaroni and cheese to me, my mom said it was like they had tried to combine nacho cheese with salt and vinegar or pickling flavor.
I have a nasty habit of drinking it on trains... at 9 am...

It's about time they came to their senses. I've been getting by with the local supermarket brand Vanilla Coke knock-off, which they kept making after the real thing went away. It's not bad, not just not quite the same.

I've never understood Diet Coke, I use it an as anology to describe people who, proverbially, put one foot on one side, and on foot on the other and fall inbetween.
I mean if you want something that tastes good, get it. if you want something that's healthy have that. But diet coke, that's just neither here nor there, it doesn't taste good, and your are lying to yourself if you think just cos it's diet it's some how good for you. i don't get it.
Shrug. That's your opinion. I and others I know like the way Diet Coke tastes. And I highly doubt anybody feels or thinks that any soda is "good for you." But as I sit here gorging on some coffee ice cream, believe me, I drink Diet Coke not because it has no calories, but because I like the way it tastes.

No the 'diet' doesn't mean it's good for you but it does mean that it doesn't make your teeth feel like they're coated in a thick layer of sugar and about to fall out!
