Bye Bye Vanilla Coke!

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of sodas called Coca-Cola Cherry. It's in a different bottle and the label is very different from Cherry Coke, and I've been trying to figure out, is it just Coke with a hint of cherry or is it the same thing as Cherry Coke with a strong Cherry taste?

They did change the label design on Cherry Coke...it looks almost exactly like the regular Coke label, but it has a slight pink tint and has "Cherry" written at the bottom of the label. Is this what you're talking about? If so, it's the same old Cherry Coke.

Nice. The only two Coke products I drink are being phased out. *shrugs* then I'm done with Coke. Tried that Black cherry crap. Tasted like ***. At least I have Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper.

Crystal Pepsi! Ah, that does take me back. Tried it when it first came out, thought "Hey, that's not too bad..." and never had another again.
Anyway, sad to hear Vanilla Coke is going away. It was nice for a change, although it was a little oversweetened I thought. I tried the new Vanilla Black Cherry Coke the other day, pretty much tasted just like Vanilla Coke, so I would got there for you fix once the big V is gone.
Speaking of "V", that "Coke V" renaming was the dumbest ever, it really reeked of despiration to invigorate sales.
A friend of mine was telling me he had a Pepsi Max Coffee (actually it was some derivative of that - Coffechino or something equally daft) it was normal looking Pepsi in a bottle, but with out and out coffee flavouring....

Diet Vanilla Coke might still be available, but they've started rolling out Diet Coke with Cherry now. I'm just sampling some with my dinner and it is rather nice, as these things go.
Hmm, we still have Vanilla Coke (and diet too) here. I really wish they still had cherry though. That was my favourite, but it was only around for a few months. The latest thing is Coke Zero which doesn't do much for me. I've grown to like the new Pepsi Samba though....tastes exactly like Nerds Rope.
Thread revival time! Vanilla Coke is back...and I couldn't be more thrilled. The Black Cherry Vanilla Coke was a decent substitute, but I was heartbroken when the Vanilla Coke got the boot.
The convenience store in my building is currently only carrying Vanilla Coke Zero, which isn't horrible, but I'm putting in a request for them to stock the regular version.

That new crazy dr. pepper flavor is no good either...the cherry vanilla one or something like that. I wouldnt be surprised if that one hit the road either.
I've been happy enough with Coke and Absolut Vanilia.
I figured you'd be one of the first to respond.
According to Wikipedia, it was reintroduced in New Zealand back in February, with North America following last month. I wouldn't count the UK out yet. Or I can ship you some.

How about Coke and Vanilla Vodka?
I switched back to Coke and then I switched again to green tea. Although, I'm still drinking Coke on the weekends. If only I had an automatic hot water dispenser like at work on the coffee makers.
