Calibrated iPhone Screen Comparison

    Here is my test between my 6s and 7s. Both screen were calibrated with the Pantone True Color app using an X-Rite Display Pro 2. All images were shot in RAW and white balanced with the X-Rite color card. Lighting was equally 1000 watts on each side. Max brightness with auto brightness turned off.

    One observation I've noticed is that my 7s was darker last week when compared to my 6s and now it appears brighter.

    Here are closer shots that are brighter. I didnt have time to use a tripod and flashes but here I am exposing just for the screen. The digitizer is more obvious here in the 7. Same lighting. Same white balance.

    The calibrated iPhone 7 pictures look much better, with more natural colors, than the iPhone 6s ones. But even the uncalibrated ones look better.
