My guess is that iPad Airs (I'm on that naming convention bandwagon) will be available in the standard black/white/anodized aluminum, but Apple will offer cases/covers in a wide variety of colors aimed at the education market.

Pretty much how I see it going down

Colors...

My guess is the whole colored thing is actually related to the ipad minis which will come in different colors. Supposedly they want to get more into the educational sphere and since that's the device that they are most likely to do it with I think we will see colored iPad minis...

That wasn't the case with the first iPad keynote (and the banners with the paint splattered Apple logo), although in this case we have different posters with different background colors. I guess we'll find out soon!!

Wow, nice job, that's a +great+ predicted outline of the event.

Very excited at the Apple media event and product launches/updates! I was wondering, will this be streamed live via Apple's website or YouTube? In Ireland, it will be about 6pm when this event starts. Thanks.

:apple:I don't know If this was mentioned yet, but notice how the Apple logo on the poster gets smaller symbolizing "mini"?:apple:

Is it weird of me to hope they come in colors? I know I am a guy and hoping for different colors is "childish", but I really want a blue Ipad mini. This will be my first Ipad, the wife finally said yes :)

I'm still not sold on the business case for discontinuing the iPad 2. It will have a higher profit margin than the Mini/Air, so how would it benefit Apple to not offer the iPad 2 to consumers as long as it remains a top seller?

I want "one more thing."

want "five more things"

Shrinked apples: couldn't be more obvious.....

You're on to something for sure...wish it was a "shrinked" MacPro.
