It's just in front of 7am in Alaska...no lines at BB or AT&T at this point, but it's obviously WAY to early if you're seeing nothing in Philly....or, if it's 11am, is it possible the line has moved inside?I'm amazed NONE of your are going to AT&T. That, I believe...after reading through this thread and several others on MR that are "Checking in"...is going to be the most fruitful location. Only problem...5pm, Friday and people paying their bills. That can take all sorts of time...so I think I'll go to the brand new AT&T store that is located in a brand new mall....with a Brand New Best Buy anchor on one corner (Not making this up)...there's a Target in the same mall

Is it an "In stock" concern...or the looseness of the other retailers for launch items? Wal-Mart and Target do seem to be less organized and a bit worse prepared...but a line's a line, right? Or is it simply that the Wal-Marts and Targets in the land will only receive a dozen and Best Buy/Apple will get a "Dozen" dozen?

That is it. Target/Wal-Mart do not look like they are getting many at all while Apple/Best Buy look like they are getting good sized shipments.

Hah! 4PM is already pushing it! I'm lucky my boss is letting me leave early at all.
For something more important I'd be willing to ask to leave earlier, but for an iPad launch? In the big picture, job comes first. Besides, I'll get one eventually. It's not like they're going to stop selling them tomorrow.

I'm going to AT&T first because it's around the corner from my office.
I went to Target last night, and I asked the guy in the electronics department about how they were going to handle the iPad 2 launch tomorrow. He wasn't sure, so he asked the guy at the customer service desk who replied, "the iPad 2 comes out tomorrow?".

I might, depending on what the line reports are as 4PM approaches.
I don't particularly enjoy driving to or from Dadeland (I live in the FIU area) during rush hour.
