Apple Store - Freehold mall NJ - 12:48 PM - only 25-35 people in line right now.

Apple employees are using first gen. ipads to mark down what you are planning on buying. No mention of a limit on quantity. I told them I am getting one for me and one for my wife. No problems so far. They have barricades setup going down the mall corridor as far as I can see right now.

I also asked what accessories will be available - they say they don't know yet but they assume at least the smart covers will be here.

If anyone has any questions or wants updates let me know and I will se what I can do. I am about number 20 in line I'm guessing so hopefully I will be outa here by 5:15 ish!!

I couldn't imagine waiting in line for more than a few minutes for anything. People wait hours to buy something? Sounds nuts

About 22 in south portland mall for apple store right now

Oak Brook was the only true suburban Chicago Apple Store until Orland Square Mall, then Deer Park (way up on the Northern 'burbs of Chicago), then Naperville sprung up.

I would prefer to go to the Naperville Apple Store since it's closer to me, but it's outdoors & would rather wait in line inside at Orland Square as much as possible if possible.

Family member is en route to Orland Square now. Heard from Mall Corporate that there were around 20-25 people in line at 11:00 AM CST. Hoping my wife is in under the 100 person mark by the time she gets there in a few minutes.

Summit Apple Store in Birmingham, AL has 5-10 in line as of noonish...

Now security is saying we can't line up til 2:15-2:30...

Huge fight at the 5th Avenue store in Manhattan. Riot police forcing everybody to leave the area. Many injured being treated by EMT's. Man seen bleeding from stomach rushed away in a police car.

About 20 people in line at the Arrowhead Apple Store (Glendale, AZ). That's surprising to me because of all 5 Apple stores in the Phoenix area, that is probably the slowest.

Earlier report was at 10:30 am there were at least 40 people in line. I'm betting that number is well over 100 now.
