No line at my local Target yet. I have strategically placed myself in the patio/grill section with a clear view, straight shot, of Electronics. I WILL have an iPad 2 today!
Franco- I was going to head over there around 3pm..can you keep us updated on the line?

Look for the cute redhead in line behind you with her mother. It's my girlfriend. She wants the same one and is also having trouble deciding on a carrier. Maybe you two can work it out.
There's about 35-40 people in line outside the Apple Store in Scottsdale, AZ (the Scottsdale Quarter store), as of right now. Lots of chairs set up and umbrellas to keep the sun off their heads! 
I'll probably go by a store I think around 7pm tonight, after most of the lines have cleared out. With this launch, I don't think they'll sell out. too many other retailers out there selling this time, and its a nice upgrade from the iPad 1, but not crazy awesome. If they would have put the retina display on the iPad 2, I'd be in line with these guys....

Apple employees just did a count of people in line and there are about 110 people here at fair oaks. Line keeps growing.
Baaah! Thanks for the correction. My head is still a block of concrete from this flu I've had all week, am not thinking straight. Should've known better than to try and arrange Chicago area Apple Store openings in chronological order in my current state.
folks, I am leaving my house now.. but still trying to determine if i am going to gsp or staying in local to go to target.. will update as i go along.. (target in north bergen)
As of 12:30, about 25 people. A while ago, a couple blue shirts came out and told us they'd give us tickets at 2-3 to select what we want. The line seems tone growing at a faster rate as the day progresses. I doubt it will be huge, though.
