Well I kinda collect iPhones.
The 4GB iPhone 1st generation in very good condition. Works perfectly. (US version unfortunately...)
It's not the rarest iphone up-to-date.Why unfortunately? I know only one owner of non-released european 4GB iPhone version - and that's me![]()
I buy - repair - sell so I go through many many iphones a month. My collection is always different, though, I do have my own personal modest collection. Why on earth/ how on earth would anyone collect these?
Did you steal them from people?
When I have an upgrade available, I sell the old one. I no understand you people...
It's not the rarest iphone up-to-date.![]()
I already got some valuable opinions about my collection, thanks. I lost the desire to share it with anybody again.
here was trashYou shared it with iPod collectors in a thread about collecting iPods. Go figure...

how about a sealed , never opened original iphone, I'm sure that's gonna bring big bucks in a few years

And deleted it only because of your impolite feedback. "The best iPod" was too offensive to your eyes in that thread, and I already wrote - I won't share it again. Next time my message will contain wrong fonts, images wouldn't be centred as they should be, etc.
Maybe but I don't think its going to be like a sealed Macintosh 128k. I just don't see how a product that sold millions will be a collector's item. Too many of them to make it rare.

Not too many sealed and unsused though![]()
Go on eBay, search "iphone 2G sealed". Be amazed. It's crazy as crap, but they are selling for thousands of bucks.Maybe but I don't think its going to be like a sealed Macintosh 128k. I just don't see how a product that sold millions will be a collector's item. Too many of them to make it rare.
If you look at the sticker on the label second from the bottom, it says iphone 4 Black - it should say iPhone 4 Black.
Apple wouldn't make a mistake like that!
Fake sealed iPhones are becoming popular as I mentioned in one of our email @iChernov.
I'm not a collector but, is it a crime to keep your old phone or something? I no understand you.
No, that's fine, but...why?
No, that's fine, but...why?
May I also comment/answer?
Is that not cool to own the phone/iPod, which changed the WHOLE industry? The first iPod, the original iPhone - these devices changes the way we were thinking - and it is cool to have a piece if history. That's my point of view.
Okay, that's fine with me. Did you also keep your first Rotary phone?
If anyone needs a 3G or a 4 to add to their collections let me know![]()
I don't have and never had rotary phone. Speaking about their meaning for the industry - do you see a lot of rotary phones nowadays? And what about iPhones and other phones with giant touch screens?

Ha! Only if they are sealed![]()
