We're coming back to the discussion above... Don't make their rules ;) However it is still obvious if iPhone was used or not - serial number could be checked via Apple's services...

Not always obvious. Warranty starts on date of purchase regardless if phone is sealed, new, or used.

I meant that there are also some internal services Apple's employers (Geniuses) can use. If that's important - there is a way to ask them, if the phone was activated or not. Not activated = never connected to the computer = most probably really new

One more beautiful set

Maybe 2g with iOS 1. But still not that rare if at all.

I have a first generation iPhone. I reverted it back to 1.1.3 (the lowest you can go) to see what features were missing.

Wow, talk about fluidity and stability, but also obsolescence. What I can tell you is that I miss the 'iPod' app with was basically the Movies and Music app in one. I wish we could be given an option to have them seperate or as one.

I'm sure it's the day it was activated. How does Apple know when you bought the phone, if from a reseller?

Could anyone enlighten me about the original and official Apple accessories that were meant for first generation?
