And what is the Battery Life on this super thin cell phone from China ?

Found it. Not that good for a thin phone.....

Not that I disagree that thin phones in general have poor battery life, but your attachment is not about the Oppo Finder, it is about the Meizu MX.

There will eventually be a barrier that cannot be crossed without a work around. A silicon-based computer processing chip for example cannot be clocked higher than 4GHz without the chip frying itself. The work around was to add more cores. For a phone I'd imagine the work around will continue to be making bigger screened devices for more internal layout while at the same time reducing overall thickness.

Stop spewing out lies. I've over clicked my home pc to 4.4GHz. Guess what? A year later it's working perfectly fine.

For example, the Oppo Finder:

It was clearly false advertising by Apple.

Apple was mistaken in their initial claim, but whether it was deliberately false is unknown. I think even the Macworld live blog to the 9/12/12 event noted that they had walked back the "thinnest smartphone ever" claim by the end of the presentation, and called it simply the thinnest iPhone ever. Their website has never made the "thinnest smartphone ever" claim from what I can tell. They just say it is the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever, which is true.

It is enough thin right now, it took some time until I hold iphone5 well with my hands. If they will make it thinner I will change to the Google world. :(

Exactly! I find the iPhone 4S difficult and uncomfortable to hold due to it's thinness. I can't imagine the 5. I would prefer battery life to thinness. It's not like people were going around claiming the 4S was too thick!

I think the "thinness" has less to do with it than the squareness of it. The original iPod Touch was extremely thin and I don't recall complaints about it. I don't hear people complain that credit cards are "too thin." In the relatively near future, when displays become flexible, it may be possible to get close to paper thin while being even more comfortable to hold than the 5.

I have found the 5 to be no more difficult to hold than the 4S. In fact, it seems easier since it is lighter.

The real question is, do we want it any thinner?
Personally I would rather have them not make it thinner so the battery can remain larger.

You have no idea about the technical issues you are referring to. There are tons of silicon CPUs running at speeds greater than 4ghz

you will never put a silicon based chip in a phone running 4 GHz, and yes there are tons but they have to be cooled specially and are exclusive to desktop pcs so what he originally said is correct, newer cpus can run over 4 GHz but only when needed its not a constant use of all potentially power

It's not even the rzor.

they all have parts that stick out therefore they are all making false claims, you dont measure "thick"ness at the thinnest point of anything

Maybe it's just me but super thin phones show no attraction. The iPhone five is the rhinnest I want a phone.

I see them doing away with the headphone jack in the future and just going bluetooth. Idk how they could do away with the charging port though. I mean wireless charging could work but what about people who need to charge in their car?

Shouldn't get any thinner or lighter I think. A couple of my friends picked it out my pocket (it's quite loose) and I didn't notice for about half an hour until someone later asked if they could check it out.
