Fine! You got me to look! N66mAP, so I guess that's TSMC. Is the N71 different, or is that the one in the regular 6s- mine is the plus.LOL. I wasn't going to look, but I already had an app on my phone with that capability. So I looked...

Did you get rid of Facebook app? That a for sure battery killer.
You can always just set Facebook to not ever alert you. I never saw a point of Facebook alerting me about anything anyway. I check it when I feel like checking it. Most days it's not even in my top 5.Did you get rid of Facebook app? That a for sure battery killer.

I'd like to know which chip is inside my iPhone 6s Plus - TSMC or Samsung? Is there anyway I can say which one I have just by checking the serial number or IMEI number of the phone? I don't want to install any 3rd party software to do this.[/QUOTI
Yes its possible send your phone to ifixit guys. They will not turn on your iPhone but took it apart and will immediately let you know which chip is it. They will reassembled it and will send you back. Keep in mind that they did not turn on the iPhone so there is no chance that there would be any 3rd party app be installed. You will get your result just the way you like it. After knowing the chip type its up to you whether you keep your iPhone or sell it by weight.
That's hilarious. And true. You know what? I may be happier if I don't know. If I find out I have the Samsung, I'll be disappointed for mostly no reason, and if I have the TSMC I'll feel superior for next to no reason, and realize I'm being shallow. I think I should just be happy with my new phone.
You know how people are.General consensus is it doesn't matter. On any given phone variability is 2-3% regardless of chip.

You know how people are.
We're going to want that demonstrable 2.5% extra battery life.
I think it is a Samsung plot to make Apple look bad.
