can I use AirPods pro on iOS 12.1

I’m currently jailbroken on iOS 12.1 and I am looking to buy AirPods.I want to know if the AirPods will work with the older iOS version. My device is the iPhone XS max.

No, with Pro’s you need iOS 13.2 or higher. Regular AirPods will work though

They will work as standard bluetooth earphones, but not sure if you can turn the active noise cancellation or transparent mode on/off without ios 13.2

ANC and Transparency mode work when I pair them with my Note 10+ by long pressing the stem. So I would think it would be the same on an older version of iOS.

Im on iOS 12.4.4 and ANC works.

I think the only thing you cant do without iOS 13 is updating the APP's firmware.
