Yeah, I think we will and judging by WWDC live stream, we will know for sure about 1-2 hours before the event, so you're pretty much spot on.Hello guys,
do you think we will get the live stream today? And if so, when Apple usually let us know? Just before the event or 1-2 hours ahead?
They might, but don't get your hopes up. At any rate, Apple usually posts a video about the event a few hours after.
I hope that its not the case and we will get the live stream. I know that they post it later but it usually takes 2-3 hours which will be too late for me.
At work we have private cinema so if they stream it live like WWDC then I will be able to watch it in the cinema which is awesome))
no, no popcorn. better -> pizza and beerIs free popcorn part of the deal? Sounds nice.![]()

There definitely wont be a live stream today. The reason Apple did one for WWDC was due to unprecedented demand and wanting to give something back to the developers who couldn't go.
Apple has live streamed their last 3 events i believe..
But it makes perfect sense to live stream an event in which you are launching a new product that brings in over 50% of your companies revenue...
The people who would watch are already highly motivated to buy and will get the news one way or the other. The more casual observers will learn about it from websites, blogs, newspapers and TV shows.
There's no real need for Apple to waste time and money on this.
I would like to raise it to pizza, burger/hot dogs and beer.
Agreed, especially since they're short on money and dislike pleasing a numerous base of fans by providing a live stream of the event.

Burning through money needlessly with reckless abandon is the surest way of ensuring you'll have none eventually.
if apple is already recording the event to be put online later, the extra effort/expense to live stream it is not really significant.

Well it is. Requires a lot of bandwidth.
I have a feeling there isn't going to be a livestream.
Why would it cost them anything? Its in their HQ where they have the setup anyway and doing it LIVE vs post later is pretty much the same.
It's not the same. I too want a live stream, but something tells me we won't be getting it today. My AppleTV is on and hopefully I will see the Apple Live Events button soon...
So how is it different? In what terms they will pay more? They have the bandwidth, they have the people, equipment etc.
