Yes looking for attention so that people start realizes that it is not the right thing to do.

I suppose post this thread on none apple fan site. That might be better for my intention

You should have contributed to the existing thread which I have no doubt you read and which formed your idea to create this thread.

There was no need for a whole new thread.

There is no need for you policing the forums, too. Just saying.

Why not naming it a human right and asking the UN for protection?
:-D :-D :-D
Update: Holy s...t! You did it! - You already named rolling back to older version's of iOS "a human right".

We live in a free society, we are entitled to have choice. You choice whoever is your president, you choice whether Android, iOS, BlackBerry or whatever. We ask for freedom and we see freedom of choice is important part of our society. However, this choice is suddenly not applicable for Apple.

Seriously, I brought the god damn device, I have freedom on destroying it, abuse it, cook it, using it, rollback to older version of iOS, upgrading to newer iOS if I wish to. Why should Apple impose restriction on rolling back to older version? What is the reason behind it? Keep user not rolling back to older version so that it appears everybody are using he latest version of OS?

Yes, some people updated to iOS 7 and yes there are people do not like it. And yes people should read the description before install it. People think the fault is the customer should seriously think for a moment.

If I buy a PC or Mac, I have the freedom on choice my OS... I can install Windows 7, Windows 8 or early Windows XP. I can install Lion, Mountain Lion p, Linux, Windows on my Mac as well. Why should iDevice be any different? I can change just about everything on my Android devices if I am willing to,

Everybody defending Apple on this matter should agree government strip away your freedom of speech, freedom of choice. Because not allowing customer choice whichever versions of iOS is same as take away of my right of choice

UPDATE 1: I am suggesting that Apple should keep the downgrade window open, BUT I am not suggesting Apple need to support old device.

UPDATE 2: For all your hate, what is harm cost to YOU, if Apple allow downgrade? There are people run into problems with iOS 7 and they want go back. What about these people?

You have the choice, just don't upgrade. It's the same as buying a download for a game then asking for a refund because you happen to not like this particular game. They worked hard to make it and it's better for everyone if they have it for security purposes

No, it's more like buying a game and then not being able to play the game you played before that.

if you want such freedom shouldn't have chosen apple. I own both Android and Apple devices. On my Nexus I can revert back to any older version up to which the phone originally shipped with. So yeah if you want to have an iDevice you can't make many choices like on other platforms :D

Swedish nexus owners still can't upgrade to the latest os though...

No sir you are wrong. This is about the player pressing YES to downloading the new game, and then saying I want to go to the old one....

And?

When you paint over something, you can't go back. What's the difference.

What's the difference between having Apple not allowing a person to install a previous version of iOS and to paint over something. Are you serious?

(Also, painting over something is reversible in two different ways...)

Yes. Serious. If you take your car to be painted (press the update button) you cannot expect the painters (Apple) to undo it for you if you don't like the new color.

And let me paint your car for you and you can show me how you reverse it. You can even pick which of the two ways to do it.

This is very nice. Good news! Most users of Android have to use outdated versions of their OS - but at least... they are able to go back to versions even more outdated. This is good service!

Okay...

You painted a red car blue, now let's reverse it:
Sand it, prime it, repaint it using red. It's not impossible, I promise.

But how is this relevant to the fact the Apple doesn't allow its customers to install older versions of iOS?
