No kidding. Wasn't expecting UPS to be part of such a rough ride. Also hard to believe the equipment failure notices. Suspect they are just positioning for not making their timing commitments

My tracking is the exact same as yours including the times so it seems were on the same boat but what doesnt make any sense to me is that the package is already at Concord so im not sure what a late flight has to do with anything anymore as the next step is a UPS delivery truck?? maybe waiting for other phones before they release the truck for delivery?

Mine’s out for delivery now in Calgary. It says no signature required on the Apple website so I hope It doesn’t get left outside my house before I get home!
Update: Richmond BC - Departure Scan. Heading to Delta for sort then delivery.
Not quite in Vancouver but the lower mainland. I see we got the “mechanical failure has caused a delay” message. It then said it will arrive today after the delivery commitment time. Whatever that means.
Then it looks like it arrived in Richmond this morning. Still says delivered by end of day today. Who knows what time that’ll be. Hopefully not for the brief period I need to go out!

Damn mine doesn’t show a departure yet. Still just showing import scan in Richmond at 9:14am
Same as mine. I put a note by the door and specified not to leave any UPS package at the door. Plus I have Vinint door bell camera so I get a notification as soon as anyone come close to the front door. Worst case I would just tell the UPS guy over the camera to take the package back for pick up.

Mine has been out for delivery as of 8:51 AM - it is delivering to a Richmond address though so I must have saved some time there
Mine left Richmond over an hour ago… so thinking it’s already in Delta and possibly even out for delivery already.
So is there a definitive answer as to whether or not you can return your online ordered phone to an Apple store?
My launch day phone will be coming via UPS either today or tomorrow and I want to return it. I don't really feel comfortable with shipping a $1700 phone back to Apple though.

I'm in Toronto/North York, shipment came from Mississauga. Nothing yet. One's been sitting in Concord since 10:17 am. Still scheduled for delivery end of day today. The other has apparently taken the scenic route from Mississauga to Concord, and has been on the road since 10:18 am. No scheduled delivery information available at this time.
At this rate my guess is we aren't going to see an updates until tonight, and they'll be rescheduled for tomorrow. I'm pessimistic and annoyed.
ive returned an online ordered iphone in store before as long as its in the return window of the 2 weeks you should be fine they wont give you any hassle

UPS always has problems every year I’m not sure why but they need to be a little more efficient

Ditto here. No movement since departing Mississauga at 10:07am this morning. No updated delivery schedule either. They are blaming it on a late flight which is bogus since I've been monitoring the flights. Assume it's sitting somewhere and will eventually end up in Concord tonight and back to Mississauga for delivery. I'm counting on tomorrow but the way this has been going who knows
