When I called UPS, they said that it didn’t make it through customs on time... but I said... I see it is in Richmond already... and it’s out for delivery...

Ok, thank you. Did it arrive in Richmond at about 8:15 this morning?
When I called UPS, they said that it didn’t make it through customs on time... but I said... I see it is in Richmond already... and it’s out for delivery...
Still sitting in limbo here in Mississauga. Is anyone else in the same boat?
Last scan was 10:07 A.M. Departure this morning from Mississauga. No scans or updates since and no delivery scheduled.
With a final destination here in Mississauga, it’s hard to believe the phone sat all day in a truck or depot here and there still hasn’t been a delivery scheduled.
Ugh. It will be 8 days in transit tomorrow. So much for the 4-5 day delivery commitment. Not blaming Apple who gave the phone to UPS on Nov 7th.

I got a destination scan around 3:30pm nothing after that im guessing it will come tomorrow.. or never and ups robbed us
i am quite jealous of those of you who are getting your phones via ups problem free....

so a bit of update from my apple/ups fiasco
apple sent me two emails on Monday
one titled “we’re refunding your items”
and another “We received your return request”
again, asking me to print label and send the phone that never arrived back to them... I am very tempted to print off a screen cap of the UPS lost package status, write “GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!” in black marker and send it back to apple.
a bit a research on the “we’re refunding your items” one..
apparently this means the refund is in process? anyone have an idea as to how long it takes?

Call them (Apple). Honestly, you shouldn't be put in the middle here. Call Apple and if they don't give you assurance that they're refunding your money (ASAP!) then call your credit card company and tell them what's happening.
Get it out of limbo so you can grab a reservation/pickup and move on.

and i think i might just hold off on it for now, perhaps it isnt meant to be...
unless if all of a sudden Richmond Center gets flooded with a bunch of new stock then I might pop in to buy one
I made a mistake of calling UPS again for the last time - was advised that the shipment was just updated to arrive tomorrow instead. Had to leave the house.... missed the shipment by 10 minutes.
SIGH* What a fail. Now I have to wait for tomorrow before I can pick it up....
Damn! I was worried about that all day. Had to leave for an hour. Figured that’s the exact time it would come as if UPS was waiting for me to leave.
At least you can pick it up on your own time tomorrow and not wait for “end of day”

Mine has been ‘out for delivery’ since 6am but I’m from Scarborough.

Let's hope so! I just got another destination scan for Concord for both phones at 8:32 am. Fingers crossed!
Not yet. Last update was a destination scan at 3:30pm yesterday. The delivery date is still showing as unavailable as well.
Anyone return their phone in store yet? I returned mine last night but the money has not been refunded, nor have I received any sort of email confirmation, though it shows up on the orders page as returned.
I returned the 256 that I got first. It took a couple of days before Apple transferred the funds back to my card.
So I decided to call UPS and see if I could pick up the packages from the Concord location (less that a 15 minute drive from me) since they haven't moved. To my surprise they said I couldn't because the packages are loaded on to trucks and are going to be delivered today. The online status of both packages hasn't been updated yet and both still have a delivery date of tomorrow. <shrug> The waiting continues...
Interesting - wouldn't be the first time that packages didn't show up as "Out for Delivery" but suddenly appeared at my door - hopefully that's the case again today.
