Then your experiences have been much better than many (most) of the people on here.
I always use the UPS store downtown in my City, they seem to get delivery by late morning or early afternoon (on the expected delivery date). The latest I have ever seen it was 2:30 pm. The one by my house though does not get to about 4-5 pm.
I guess that it is best to call the stores to determine when they get deliveries.
I guess it stands to reason that they can't from a logistics standpoint serve all of the stores at the end of the day.
@ulinerg - Yep, definitely - there's obviously some exceptions that would be more convenient for people.
One of the Best Buys I preordered at just called to confirm they’ll have my phone ready for Friday morning!! I also confirmed they can sell the phone at full cost without having to change my plan with Rogers.
As soon as I have it in my hands on Friday I’ll cancel my Apple preorder so some of you poor souls with Nov. 21-28 deliveries like me will get bumped up a spot!

How do we know Apple will use UPS this time? It’s possible they may use fedex as they are in the US...
They have been using UPS for years. I think they do use FedEx from time to time but that is the exception and not the rule. My case shipped UPS.
I'm currently 337 in line on the rogers upgrade system. This is the first time I haven't really cared about the timing since the phone costs so damn much. I'm ok with keeping my money for as long as possible.

Mine was pending (it very well could have switched to a posted transaction), but when I checked this morning it wasn't listed there and my available credit had gone up by $1700 or so.
Still no more activity on my credit card.

I took like seeing the different location scans and trying to figure out which flight it's on. Kind of disappointing they aren't coming from China this year (well, directly at least).
Interesting. My Tangerine card still shows the charge from Oct 27. Maybe they don't expire authorizations for a little longer than other cards. Still no shipping info here either, but scheduled delivery for Nov 3. Usually I'd have seen something from UPS MyChoice by now.

I figure if you're in the first 20 or so you have a good chance.From what I understand you need to activate the phone in store with one of the carriers Best Buy handles, but it can be at full price so there’s no need to enter a new 2 year agreement and/or change your plan.
