CANADA — iPhone X — Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

Was working late, so it wasn't that bad although I was already sleep deprived that week.

Read a book or watch a movie as you wait. Quick way to burn hours.


Funny enough, I'm not in line right now, but watching Sam Sheffer Live on YouTube as he's camping for his flip. I'm debating joining the Fairview or Yorkdale line, but have an 11AM meeting tomorrow. There is no way I can get one by 11AM if starting from now.

Kept checking every ten minute honestly but I had work so that kept me occupied then when the YouTube films had hands on and unboxing that had me occupied but more excited and then praying my 21-28 date gets progress movement kept me worked up Hahahaha

Set my alarm for 2:55am. Kept checking the store every 30 seconds. Store went live at 3:02 on my 8 plus. Ordered 256GB Space Grey. Confirmation email came in at 3:03am with launch day delivery. Went back to bed at 3:05am. Smooth.
 
I’m about 23rd in line at Ottawa Rideau, though the line is swelling. We were moved outside an hour ago and will be able to move inside again at around 5 AM. 13° and pouring rain here and many did not realize that they would not be able to queue inside all night, so some very wet people. I am the crazy (smart) one with a small tent. Also it’s mostly students here (myself included).

How many iPhones do Apple stores at big malls have anyways? If there’s like 50 people ahead of me or something?
 
I just checked the Australia thread. Some are saying there is lots of stock. A lineup of 41 people and everybody got their phone so it might be better here then other people have been saying.

Mine is out for delivery according to UPS. Hope I don't have to wait all day.

I commend those waiting in line. Can't be pretty but I'm sure the moment you feel that iPhone box in your hand, it will all become a distant memory. Good luck!

Just joined the Yorkdale line. Not so bad. Maybe 100 people?

Cancelled my preorder. Currently 16 in line at my Apple store. Store opens in just over an hour from now. Roughly 70-80 in line so far (Halifax shopping centre)
