Have you tried any of the cheaper regular ones that are not gorilla glass and thicker

No, I wish there was a way to see different options on display. From what I saw at BestBuy the comparable quality ones are around $30 to $40 and the $15 didn't seem of the same quality. I was mostly concerned about it being more scratch resistant than the iPhone's screen so to me it looks like it will deliver on that.
 
On my way to pick it up, finally the gruelling wait will be over, and only had to wait 24 hours past launch.

To those reserving, i would think your best bet is to keep trying constantly (even though it may seem like a waste of time). They will go quick. I was able to reserve within 10 seconds.

Well I got the best luck ever, drove all the way there and they said they don't have it. I showed the email, but they said they can't do anything about it. Basically said try again sucker...

Guys just FYI, I have two Space Grey 256 reservations at Masonville for pickup today that I’m cancelling. They should pop up on the reserve page since people are mentioning it going on and off intermittently.

Just want to give a chance to anyone still searching, will cancel at 12:10

So I got my phone. Went a few hours earlier than my timeslot, was told to come back during that time because they "weren't able to service me." Literally showed them the pick-up email that stated I could arrive at a different time and that I knew if people had earlier timeslots came, they'd be serviced first. Got the phone around 10 minutes later and by the time I came out, there wasn't even a line. Kinda peeved that the first guy who talked to me literally told me I couldn't do it and that I'd have to "wait for hours."

Just cancelled my pre-order for November 20-27th! Hopefully more Canadians see pre-orders getting bumped up.
