CANADA — iPhone X — Pre-Orders and Dispatch Thread

I guess I should try for 6AM tomorrow for SG 256 Eaton Centre. My pre-order is STILL at Nov 21-27. Apple saying they are fulfilling orders as received is BS.

I hesitated because the locations I had in mind weren’t available so I couldn’t make it..
(I wanted to get the 256 GB Space Gray)
It seems that there are pros and cons ordering via the website and the app..
On the App we can see if the nearby stores have the iPhone we want. On the website we don’t get to have a bird’s eye view of which nearby store has the phone in stock but we get to see the list of stores...


Does anyone know if we will be able to reserve iPhone X tomorrow and on Monday as well?
 
my store came up but by thei time i got to the pickup time part it said no time available. it was got in 4 seconds.
are they delivering them to the stores one at a time on horse back?

I got mine applied by them yesterday, they are great because they make sure nothing gets stuck inside

On the plus side for us 21-28 delivery folks we should see a bump up this week. Especially with people reserving for pickup and cancelling their online orders.

No 256gb available in BC and I got my eyes set on a 256gb. I will not settle for 64gb

Stores are receiving stock randomly (trickling in) - so yes, you should be checking for reservations every day. Not just in the morning either.
 
Reserved a 64 silver in Vancouver. No other models available and sold out by 6:03.

Hope it works out as I have had reservations go bad before.
 
seems like canada didnt get any shipments and what we are seeing are returns and cancellations being returned to stock. I see some stores pop up and go down only to pop up again

Masonville got stock for sure... yesterday they only had 40 devices and sold out turning 100+ people away, and today you could reserve both models until 6:10am... that's a lot of devices.

Open box returns don't get resold though - they go into warranty stock (as they're now used).

Edit: I wonder if they haven't changed things for Canada....that we won't see tracking from China any longer - that we can only see when items are in country.

That’s why I’m kinda sceptical. I have a reservation pickup for 10-10:30am but I still haven’t received a “your pickup is ready” email, but I did get the reservation confirmation email.

i dont think so many stores in canada pop up on istocknow for a second only showing 1 of the 4 different xs models available and its gone

I think they're getting very limited stock. A handful of each.

I think they're disappearing quickly as many are doing what we are...refreshing looking for them. (and snagging them as soon as they show up).
 
I am seeing hourly bumps on istocknow. Haven't turned off my notifications yet.

I did cancel my online order. Hope everyone still waiting gets a bump soon.
 
Can someone confirm for me:
Currently the reserve and pick up is saying they aren't taking reservations and to check back at 6am tomorrow. A few minutes ago it was showing a 256gb SG was available in London, ON. Then it went down. I assume someone claimed the remaining stock there. Will the reserve and pick up open back up during the day as stock becomes available? Or are we forced to wait until 6am again?
