Was able to reserve one for my brother this morning.
At 6:12 Conestoga was still showing availability for almost every model i think.

I’m kind of about to throw in the towel. I’ve gotten up at 5AM for 4 days in a row, waited with my finger on the app and refreshed like crazy just before 6AM and for several minutes after. Nothing. Then I pass by Eaton Centre and there’s a crowd lined up to pick up pre-orders. What’s the secret???
If I just order the old fashioned way, it says 3-4 weeks. Is it really that long? Anybody see theirs improve to a week or so? I’m just sick of waking up so early and being disappointed.

lol I knew it...tracking updated....now it's in Hong Kong and it moved from delivery EOD on the 10th to Nov 14. Ugh. Why would it go from Korea to Hong Kong :|

Toronto has been getting a lot of stock, so you're just getting beaten to the punch. You really should setup notifications on iStocknow - for the configuration you want and all Toronto Apple Stores (I'd likely include the ones in Burlington, Hamilton and Newmarket too). That will get you the e-mail alerts to your phone.
Then, being signed in, go to their browser notifications page https://www.istocknow.com/browser and wait for it to show one of the phones as being available (have your app up and ready to go into the reservations page) - and quickly reserve it with the app on your phone.

Yep, there's a bunch of Americans in your batch that are equally pissed off at the moment. Nothing you can do about it....UPS' logistics. I'm sure they have their reasons for sending the plane back to HK to grab another shipment before heading up to Anchorage.

How is that possible? Constant refreshing on the app just before 6am for several minutes and no stock ever appears other than in London a few times. What kind of stock are they getting? Like one iPhone X?

It's often not right at 6am. Sometimes it's at 6:14am....or 6:25am. You don't know what time they're going to put the stock up, you only know reservations open at 6am.
I couldn't tell you what they've been getting....I'm not in Toronto. 🙂 I know when I was looking for my SG 64, there were all kinds of phones coming available at the malls in TO.
well someone in the american thread just said "WOOT!! I just got up and that was fast plane movement cause I went back from 11/13 to getting delivered today!"
but he lives in America...sooo.....yeah. Maybe I'll get lucky today and there will be tons of movement but doesn't seem like it. Sigh.

Yep, there's lots of planes in the air. The one thing that you could do that may allow you to get it sooner though is to get it held at the UPS Customer Centre (if it's not too far from you, it could be handy). Especially if they have Saturday hours. That way, if it hits the hub on Friday/Saturday you're not waiting for Tuesday - you can just go pick it up.
Many of them also have early morning hours, so you can snag your deliveries often before work.
Oh...if they give you any flack about how they have to attempt delivery first, just tell them that you're flying out on business, so you absolutely have to be able to snag it beforehand. 🙂 (little fib, but it's worth it) 🙂

I wasn’t asked for a card on my reservation.
Did you purchase with store pick-up?
They’ll probably accept it, but I’m not sure. If the card is already purchased, they might refund it first.

Yes, you'll be fine. I reserved the first one with Apple Pay, but then used my Visa card directly to pay (could have used debit as well).
They really don't care, so, yep, get your points. 🙂
My buddy ordered last week and it’s coming in December and dates hasn’t improved at all.
I know the frustration of getting up early and keep failing to reserve one, I have been doing the same for 5days.
But keep trying you will get it!!

Mine is on the same plane as yours. This is so frustrating...I was hoping to get it by tomorrow. Oh well, that means I'll WFH now instead of going into the office because I was having it delivered there.
And for anyone else looking to reserve. I notice Apple updates their stock at around 11pm EDT (at least for the past couple nights I was monitoring). So try your luck then...a bunch showed up last night. Good luck everyone.

Mine has jumped back to being delivered tomorrow (10th) instead of the 14th. But I’ll believe it only when tracking shows it out for delivery.

Me too, I had been pushed to 13th and now it's back to the 10th, but I'm not holding my breath. This has been a sh*tty roller coaster.

Edit: Aaaaand they're gone. Only up there a few minutes before they were snatched up. Hopefully she got one! Two malls in Edmonton and one in Calgary had them.

To anyone in London:
If 6am reservations aren't working for you, try iStockNow, I registered for notifications last night, and at 11pm there was a huge restock all over Ontario apparently. I was able to order my phone for pickup really easily, and it was up until about midnight, with all models available. You guys should keep trying that/call into the Apple Store about walk in stock/keep on the look out for reservations. Good luck.

I got one!!!! And in Calgary too! so don't need to drive 3-4 hrs although I would have lol. I slept really late and assumed I would end up being disappointed like the last 4 mornings and can sleep in. Now, I feel more awake than ever😉 lol. This is so much better than waiting until December!!!!

I picked up in store 8 hrs ago and although it was very busy i was in-out in under 5 mins. The staff was very helpful. As for the phone, I spent all day with it (a good chunk was spent on face ID and animoji/ cameras) and its worth every penny! Feels very premium in the hand hardware wise, and software is equally as impressive! Also, as ive said before im not going to hide the beauty in a case. It just wouldnt do it justice, and Im very careful with my phone. Got AC+ and rocking it naked.
Almost forgot to mention but I inspected the screen for dead pixels/coloration anomalies, dust specs in camera, microscratches on front/back glass an the SS band. Everything was in order and so I wont need to go through the replacement cycles like some users have had to. Oh and no more waking up at 5 am lol.
