I think there is still hope for you to get it on friday. It really depends on what happens once you get to Achorage.

There is an initial departure scan at 23:00 on mine which I assume is when they were moving the pallet onto the plane.

My UPS updated this morning. Apple email originally quoted the 20th. UPS is giving me a delivery of the 14th. It’s currently in Zhengzhou, destination is Calgary.

Since it's still in ZhengZhou theres very very slight chances that you get it before Nov 14. That would actually be a little miracle.

Haha, yeah I figured as much. Doesn’t bother me either way, since I know it’s actually coming now. Just wanted to ask to see if there was a chance 😛

Pick up time does not matter as long as u pick it up on the same day

We'll see ... Mine's still in ZhengZhou and UPS is still showing delivery on Nov 13th. I've been amazed how UPS moves Apple stuff in the past so there's hope.

Finally was able to reserve a 256GB Silver in downtown Montreal. Was looking for a 64GB, but was tired of getting up early every morning and refreshing web page every 5 minutes. Didn't want to wait for 3-4 weeks ordering through Apple. More storage space and future proof I guess. Will give this one to my son only if a X+ comes out next year.

Guess you weren't paying attention to the launch day supply flights then? When flights were going from ZhengZhou to Louisville with less than 15 hours of flight time?

Edit: The flight time isn't the hurdle here...it's when these shipments fit within UPS' logistics. If they wanted them here tomorrow, they would be.

Actually, the departure scan time is usually when the entire plane leaves - they have it all update at once. The first departure scan you see in ZhengZhou is usually when the shipment leaves the plant for the airport.

For those stuck in Incheon, a new flight UPS99 just shown up for tomorrow, leaving ICN at 11:10pm KST to arrive Anchorage at 12:48pm AKST. My phone will probably be on this one!!
 
My scheduled delivery is EOD Friday but it hasn't left Korea yet.........lol

I'll be shocked if it comes by then. Really wanted it for this weekend too.
 
I'm happy I was able to buy one with in store pickup today. I honestly couldn't handle another week or checking the tracking every hour. Godspeed everyone.
Side note: is anyone's order still "in progress" or was that third wave yesterday the final round of orders being bumped up?
