Canada Orders - Shipped & Status Updates

I live in milton which is right next to burlington... I have a feeling it might show up in the morning *fingers crossed* :p
 
there is one flight from burlington to edmonton scheduled at 155 am edt.. and its a cargo plane.. if watch coming by this flight then i am surely getting it tomorrow
 
Same here, label created. I live in Toronto any chance I might get it tomorrow ?

and how/when can I change the shipping address ?

I doubt it because it hasn't been picked up yet. Only the label has been created later tonight. Unless the parcel is already at the Concord facility and the drive picks it up tomorrow morning so we can maybe expect a delivery tomorrow(Tuesday).

my label was created sat morning... it has cleared customs today... fingers crossed
 
Any confirmation that the label we're seeing means the rumoured customs holdup has been cleared? It says the package is still waiting to arrive in their facility. Not convinced this is good news yet.
 
I'll say it still has to clear customs today, as our other Apple watch did. Expect a Wednesday delivery. Let's see if anything changes around 10:00 am EST.

There was no rumored customs hold up. Someonpe who does not understand the UPS logistics speculated a customs hold up. The shipments are behaving exactly as many other Apple products delivered by UPS in the past.

That someone was a apple representative. The watches were indeed waiting to be cleared by customs yesterday and finally were at just after 10pm last night.

Order Processed: Ready for UPS as of 08:13am

Waiting to clear customs and being held by customs are two entirely different things. I'm not defending CBS in particular but I can see an Apple employee who has been getting bombarded for days suggesting that CBS was "holding" the shipment versus just the normal clearing process. Transit time to Canada I have seen mirror other Apple products I've had shipped at launch.

Ya that's what was meant, just got interrupted by people the wrong way. They weren't purposely being held, just it was an extreme dollar amount shipment and the paperwork has to be checked etc. That was the "delay".

Have you tried calling UPS to see if you can pick it up in transit somewhere or in Burlington? I'm about too, I'm sure it's "no" but if I don't ask it's no anyway lol

Well, called UPS to see if I can grab it today instead of delivery tomorrow and the rep says: "Sir I have it scheduled for delivery today"

He verified it twice as online just says "ready". :eek::D

Hoping this is the same for all of you
 
i just called ups and they said my package isn't even in canada yet because the label has just been created but its not in ups' hands physically so its definitely not delivering today. I have to wait to see a couple of more scans probably at Concord till I can say it's in Canada. She said the Burlington thing is just saying the label has been created but the package isn't in Canada yet

Ya, just says Ready, as in the first stage but when I told him he insisted today so maybe it was just a way for him to get me off the phone lol.

I wanted to pick it up as I'm off today, told him don't care where around GTA it is but said Apple's contract with them is 1st attempt regardless then customer can pick it up. Not going to take a chance and go out to do errands as what if they do come. Ugh, feels like house arrest.

Ya I called back and spoke to another UPS person just to see. Apparently they're all part of a big shipment sitting with Customs. My God, if I hear "with Customs" one more time :mad:

Anyway, this one said there's a chance of delivery today IF they get it processed to their small packages dept up to noon. After the noon hour, it's tomorrow and onwards.

Like how the USA people get shipped one day, the delivered the next day lol.

honestly this is by far the most ****ed up launch ever I got happy that I finally saw movement friday night but oh no i have to wait till wednesday or thursday to actually see "real" movement while everyone in the US get charged and have their watches the next day
