honestly this is by far the most ****ed up launch ever I got happy that I finally saw movement friday night but oh no i have to wait till wednesday or thursday to actually see "real" movement while everyone in the US get charged and have their watches the next day

Agreed. It's not like Apple hasn't shipped to Canada before. 4 days later and it still in the hands of the border. Just call UPS, they'll tell you where it is, Customs!! 1-800-742-5877, press 2 and give your tracking.......

mine has been sitting on this for a day now I'm getting really frustrated I want my ****ing watch today i'm tired of waiting and seeing everyone else get their watches, btw the sports watch had a 13 May - 26 May delivery(charged yesterday) but its now coming with my 24/4-8/5 SS watch(charged friday)

Mine looks exactly the same, so this means it is at customs???

I've also got two watches stuck in the "Ready for UPS" limbo, a 38mm and 42mm. Shipping to Toronto. They've been "Shipped" according to Apple since Saturday and Sunday. Apples email stated they'd arrive by Wednesday the 29th, so could still be on track.. Ugh..

Mine are saying Wednesday too, I am in Ontario:apple:

This tracking is starting to annoy me. No surprises from Apple this time around. :(

I just spoke with UPS they told me that my packaged hasn't even been received yet. It shows on tracking that it is processing in Burlington. UPS said it was supposed to be delivered today 4/28, but Apple says its supposed to be 4/29. This is annoying

Well, that, at least, makes more sense. I was wondering how Burlington (UPS Canadian Headquarters) fit into this. Hamilton is their receiving point / customs clearing centre. Concord is their main distribution centre - from there it tends to jump to shipments/flights elsewhere in the country - or delivery trucks if the destination is locally in Toronto.

It appears your shipment showing Burlington as location is that the label has been printed - the flight coming in (from Louisville, KY) is imminent.

long story short we won't see our watches by tomorrow

If Apple gave you the 29th as the date, you never know. It may be so (and they've been delivering up to 9pm)

Everyone was on pins and needles waiting for progress on launch day. There was a 5:05am flight that cleared customs that morning that got delivered to our local (Kitchener) depot at 10:12pm. (depot closes at 7:30 - so everyone local in that group had to wait til Monday).

UPS will be trying to hit the dates that Apple gave the customers. I'm sure there's incentives for them to do so.

Oh, and a bit of hope. A UPS flight from Louisville landed in Hamilton at 5:38am this morning. You likely won't get an updated scan until UPS does an Origin scan in Concord. (seems at that point, everything up to that point gets populated in the tracking).

You do understand there is a border between Canada and the US don't you?

You also understand that all the product for North America ships to US first and then product destined for Canada flys in from Louisville. It flies into Mt. hope (Hamilton) and then moves to Concord for Ontario deliveries.

It just takes time. Why is that so ****ed up? It was the same with the iPhones last year and every other launch prior.

The impatience here is staggering. I am anxious too but realize the logistics.

You get charged/ship notice when the watch leaves the factory in China. It's on a bulk pallet or in a bulk aircraft shipping container.

It flies from China to Anchorage.

Then it flies from anchorage to Louisville.

Then it flies from Louisville to Mount Hope.

Then it gets cleared by Canada Border Services.

Then it can go by truck to Concord.

THEN the skid/container is finally broken open and the individual package labels are scanned. This is when it finally shows in the UPS Canada tracking. If you are in the GTA and have a promised date from Apple of tomorrow you won't see it scanned in the UPS system until this afternoon evening.

Valium for everybody please.

It updated for me, as well, with the "Received into UPS Possession" note at 11:16am, but I noticed that it's 11:16am on the 27th (ie. yesterday, not today).

That places this update as being 12 hours BEFORE the 11:17pm update ("Ready for UPS") from last night.

Strange.

Exact same thing happened to me.

I think the problem is that none of this information is communicated by Apple or UPS. As far as we know we're all just waiting for Tim Cook to wave his magic shipping wand.

I didn't know Tim Cook was obligated to explain global supply chain logistics to the masses.

If Apple tells you (generic you, not you specifically) it will arrive on the 29th then it will very, very likely arrive on the 29th. A bunch of people are whining because they don't see progress yet the watch will deliver as promised. Aplle does understand the global supply chain logistics.

In Transit here too, cut off was 12noon for distribution for today delivery so looks like on schedule for tomorrow.

I guess everyone was upset like me with the Shipped on Saturday then nothing while in the US people were getting Shipped then immediately Delivery times for the next day. Guess our Customs is thorough
