Canadian Apple Watch order thread

ups delivered my iphone at around 9 pm last time.. hope this time they wont be that busy, since watch stock is sooooooo low..

For the 6+ the link showed up right at the top of the apple store app. If reserve is an option, you won't miss it. Although i would suggest using the app rather than the website. I found it was easier.
 
Does the Apple Store app for iOS automatically update when the store comes online or do I need to keep killing the app and restarting?

Ps. Currently sitting at Costa in the UK sipping my cappuccino :) And not happy with Apples pricing at all. I'm going to order a SS Milanese and a black sport and cancel/return one at some point after I've seen them in person.
 
easy Peasy. got my Sport Space grey 42mm the instant it went live.

It says shipment 1 in my order email so I assume it'll ship on day one.
 
Got my two orders in instantly at 8:01 on the Apple Store App. SS Milanese and Black Sport. Both showing...

"Shipment 1 - Delivers: 24/4-8/5 by Standard Shipping"
 
2 separate orders placed

Ordered a space grey aluminum 42" and 38" in separate orders on my iPhone and iPad. Both indicate shipment 1 April 24 - May 8. Hope it delivers on April 24th as I'm on a 14 night Trans-Atlantic cruise on the 26th.

Also made an appointment at my local Apple Store to try on the watches.

Got my order in straight away. 42mm Space Grey Sport. Delivers 24/4-8/5

Favorites helped a ton and I was able to quickly get through on the iPad app.

In the haste of the moment I decided to skip Apple Care to save time. I could always add it later but I'm not sure its a good value. It's $65 and then the accidental damage "service fee" is $89. Pretty steep.

Anyways, I also got a try on appointment for tomorrow.

Canadian price after 13% tax... (42mm)

- Sports with rubber band: $586.47
- SS with rubber band: $880.27
- SS with SS linked band: $1467.87

If want extra band...
- Sports band is $77.97 if bought separately
- SS Linked band is $676.87

The Canadian pricing + taxes really blow hard...
 
Interestingly, the Space Grey/Black Sport is now showing "Available to ship June" and and SS ones seem to be "4-6 weeks". :eek:

I wonder if I could sell the one I don't want on CL for a bit of a profit.
 
my black sport one shows june delivery. If I find one early in store or another color, can i cancel the apple store order?
 
I just ordered a ss with classic buckle, 42 mm.

It was $919 plus tax. (13 percent)

If you get it from the States its gonna be $700 plus 8 percent tax, plus exchange, plus another 13 percent if you declare it at the border... So for me it worked out just to buy it in cdn dollars.

$750 us dollars in cdn = $951, plus tax at the border if u declare. Plus gas, time, etc...

so its cheaper up here imho.

My ship date is 4/24 to 5/8. hope its the 24th!! :D
 
I ordered around 6am ET for the SS with black rubber band. Delivery estimate is 3-4 weeks or May 15 -June
