House of Cards and too stoned

I did everything right... had my favourite saved and ready to order, set alarm for 11:50pm, had computer on web page ready to go and apple store app ready to check.

Failed though. Got stoned watching house of cards and slept through my alarm. Woke up at 1:50am PT and ordered SS 42mm w/sports black band. Deliver May 21 - June 1 (4-6 weeks). Boo.

Was on at 2:58am EST. Received order confirmation email at 3:04am EST. Pretty much what I had expected.

I also reminded myself how crazy I am seeing as I've been through one too many of these early morning pre-orders...

I got the exact same delivery date.

My order is 42mm Sport Space Gray x 2 and 42mm Sport White x 2

And now we await the status change from "Processing Items" to "Preparing for Shipment".

I overslept.. 3:30 order, 4-6 weeks, SS with Black Sport strap..

I wanted the SS with milanese, but ended up ordering the 42SS with White sports band ($880.27). Delivers 4/24-5/8

I got through the app on my iPad and was done at 3:03amEST.

I also booked an appointment at the fairview apple store for 10:30am and when i went was blown away by the milanese. It looked so elegant and sophisticated, so when i got home i ordered the milanese strap ($224.57). Ships in may.

A lot more than i had initially planned on spending, but i am happy i am getting what i wanted.

At 3:08am ordered Space Grey 38mm and 42mm, both 4-6 weeks out.

Went to the Apple Store in London for try on appointments with my wife. Uh-oh. I wanted to love the SG but the Stainless Steel is what got me.

Some time around 10:30am ordered 42mm SS Black Classic Buckle. Delivers in Shipment 1 - 04/25-05/08.

Went for lunch. Went back for my wife's second try-on. She liked the Stainless Steel too, and with Classic Buckle showing 04/24 delivery. So ordered one of those.

A few minutes later checked the 42mm Classic Buckle, now showing June. 38mm Classic Buckle still available for 04/24.

Classic Buckle clearly not as popular...Lol.

42 Space Grey Sport.

I tried on both the Sport and SS this morning and was really impressed by their quality.

Might indulge in a leather loop later.

Based on previous Apple product pre-orders I think it will change to "Preparing for shipment" around 3-5 days prior to delivery.
