It could be a color thing since I ordered gold, what time does your email say you purchased it?
I had the 25th as the scheduled date. i justchecked and well I just got some bad news from UPS tracking. Not sure if this will affect everyone. It says this now:

Monday, 09/28/2015, By End of Day
I'm pretty unhappy right now. I live in Ottawa just in case anyone has similar problems.

That sucks. My date hasn't changed yet so I'm hopeful.
I will say not to lose hope though, lots of times I've received orders from ups when their delivery date was the next day.
Mine felt like it was stuck in Kentuky unless they just forgot to scan it when departing. I don't understand why it would just stay there for 2 days. Maybe it was way too much traffic for them for the 3-4 days? I feel like they would be busier on Christmas.

I'm not sure of the route it would take from Kentucky to Ottawa.
From Kentucky to Montreal there is a direct flight to the cargo airport in Mirabel scheduled to leave in 1 hour then land at 5:40am. From there it will be trucked to the sorting center in Blainville and put onto trucks for delivery. With time it takes to unload the plane and get through traffic, sort it and back onto trucks for 8am it seems to be cutting it very close but I'm going to think positive. Even if they change my date until Monday I've got nothing planned for today anyway
Like I said though, it's not rare to be told one day, have the date changed and then get it on the original date (or even earlier than you ever told for that matter). I get UPS orders on a weekly basis sometimes, I've seen it happen a lot.

Thanks for the positive comments. We'll soon find out. I'm crossing my fingers for both of us and anyone around the Ottawa and Montreal area.
I have had ups packages look like they got stalled at the hub but needed up being delivered on time, depending on the volume of shipments not every package gets its barcode scanned as it moves through the system.
I have confirmation that my phone is on the flight I suspected. It left KY at 4am and will land just before 6 in Mirabel. Tracking still says delivery today.
Looks like ours might be on the same flight, mine left at 4:01 am too. It'll be landing in a few minutes in Mirabel, QC (flight UPS 474). I guess it'll be a quick pit stop there to drop off and then back in the air headed for NB.

There is a Cargo Jet flight leaving Mirabel at 8:25am (edt) due to land in Moncton at 10:30 (adt)

Mirabel is a cargo airport that has mainly UPS, FEDEX and Cargo Jet. It's very common for one company to contract to another if they don't have enough going that direction to fill a plane. I'm fairly certain that's what's happening here (it's the only flight out this morning going in that direction), but not sure what route it'll take from there.
It's just a cellphone, but I'm really kind of disappointed that it looks like UPS may have botched the logistics of a 25th delivery for a bunch of Canadians, myself included. Having that delivered-on date flip from the 25th to the 28th after midnight last night was kind of depressing.
Same boat as you but I also got text message alert right after it arrived in Hamilton (Mount Hope) at 6:06AM that it is still scheduled for delivery today. They will update to "on vehicle for delivery" this morning. Any time there are customs exceptions they bump the online tracking just in case.Progress here. Package is now at Mount hope near Hamilton. Still giving me Monday 28th as delivery date
Dang, it'll hit Moncton, but then next cargo jet in St. John's is not until 4am tomorrow.

Looks like my phone just arrived at the UPS Depot in Mississauga. Probably after being released from customs from the airport.

When I bought the iPad(3) (preorder) I received it before the tracking ever updated it was in Vancouver, which was like 3pm. So I'm half expecting a repeat of this, but the last time it was sent by UPS (from China,) the iPhone this year is being sent by FEDEX from PA-US.
So the logistics of this seems a bit silly. So I'm thinking maybe if you ordered certain size/colors they were sent to different distribution points.
