I have been ordering launch day Iphones from Apple for a few years and also live in St. John's.

The Ups tracking has hardly ever look promising, but I have always received the phone on launch day. I am still confident I will receive it today.

Keep your hopes up :)

Strange as I didn't request to change customs broker...

I am the same, I am in Oakvile. Hope I will get them by early afternoon the usual UPS delivery window for my neck of the woods. Christmas in September...woohoo!

Ugh why don't we have an Apple Store in town? :(

Hate to say I told you so, but looks like most of us are SOL for a Friday delivery.

Not me:

But not all Zone 1
There's no reason to have held the shipment so long in KY

I'm in Quebec and so far my parcel is still scheduled for today, but I agree with you.

There are flights from KY every day going to Quebec, then Moncton, then St John's. If they had sent the cans meant for the east coast yesterday they would have them today. Maybe the plane was full already, maybe there was a miscalculation or oversight. Who knows, but it sucks when you're expecting something to come in on a certain day then find out you may have to wait a couple days more. I've felt the same disappointment over much less valuable parcels without the all the hype surrounding them.

I won't get mine today. It has to go through customs again in mtl. Same thing happened last week with a watch strap and I got it wednesday this week instead of last thursday. First and last time I get up at 3am to order. :(

Well going to bed last night my phone had departed Minneapolis and UPS still said delivers Friday....waking up this AM....things have taken a drastic turn for the worse :(

What does your tracking info say?

I asked my husband about customs (he used to do international cargo flights) and he said coming from KY it should have pretty much cleared customs already on their end. If they don't know what's in the plane, it doesn't get off the ground. Makes the process very fast when it lands here. There's still hope.

And I do :)

For one Quebec doesn't get shafted, let me have my fun :(
Yeah, I hate seeing a nice contest but when you read the rules it says "open to residents of the United States and Canada (EXCEPT QUEBEC)... For once we are not left behind! :D

Same here (Toronto). I hope they have enough time to load these on trucks for delivery.

FYI for those living in the GTA, I received the (Product) Red Apple Watch band earlier this week and it made an identical journey (minus all the waiting around in Kentucky).... It arrived in Mississauga at 5:52am on day of delivery, which lines up pretty good with today's shipments that show the 5:53 Mississauga arrival scan.

I'm in Ottawa (Kanata to be exact). Mine was at Mount Hope (near Hamilton) at 6:45am, but by 7:32am it found its way to the Ottawa area, at Gloucester. Arrival Scan

It has already been said, but it really does look like a lot of the "scans" smell heavily like BS, some packages have been making supersonic flight-type travel times. I think the fact that the packages have to arrive on a specific release date screws with the UPS system.

The trucks leave the yard at 7am, but this is UPS's screw up, so if they have to make extra runs, they'll certainly do it to avoid huge penalties from Apple.
That "the receiver has selected to use a non UPS broker" BS is just that. UPS is trying to cover their asses - hoping everyone doesn't call Apple and get them in hot water.
You really think they would have fixed some of their problems after the fiasco that was the Apple Watch launch, but they've fallen down on a higher percentage of shipments today.

But, they will be pulling out all of the stops to get as many delivered today as possible. Those that aren't should call Apple...maybe you'll get a gift card for your troubles. :)

Edit: And those in T.O. count your lucky stars that the main distro centre for Canada is in Concorde. All of you will be getting your phones today.

It says Held in warehouse with no more date estimate. Exactly the same thing that happened for my watch band. Which took 4 days to clear customs.
My gf will get hers though since it is a 6s that was already in Canada (Ordered a whole week after...)
Unless there are some magical instructions for those packages I'm sure it won't make it.

Mine should arrive today! I am in Halifax and phone is currently in Dartmouth.

Edit- just got the out for delivery scan
